Illuminatious the Venerable
Illuminatious the Venerable was born some time about a couple of centuries after Illumination had become a part of Shireroth. His exact age is unknown. Someone produces well-written and highly regarded writings under his name even to this very day, leading some researchers to speculate that he is actually multiple individuals across many years. However the handwriting style and vocabulary have remained largely the same over many years, even down to the use of the Early Illumination Shirerithian dialect. To explain this, some Illuminationers think that Illuminatious might have discovered the key to eternal life.
In any case, every hundred years or so, a large corpus (but no corpse!) is churned out in a single burst by Illuminatious. And translators, academics, and public pontificates in general are always trying to interpret and apply his words.
I will be posting some of his historical writings here in the future.
And if I can ever get him to join, he might even grace these forums with his presence someday.
Regards,
Elliot Markham
