I cannot in good conscience serve this Kaiser anymore. Therefore I hereby resign my position of Deputy Praetor as well as my claim to the office of Imperial Arbiter. I will reapply for that position when there is a new Kaiser on the throne.

Boohoohoo.
And no, that wasn't serious. I have had it with this kind of behaviour that always comes from the direction of the so-called veterans who are crying that there opinion should be heard (above those of others).
Of course, I hope you will be smart enough to retake your positions very soon, because I don't dislike you (rather a dislike your attitude in this kind of cases). But the same time I don't have the feeling that you deserve it.

I'm starting to think I had it easy as Kaiser.

Jonas, I think it would do you some good to not defend people you know nothing about.

I think it would do everyone a lot of good to STFU about this issue.

Erik, don't make decisions if you can't handle the consequences. I won't shut up.

I defend the principle. The only big complains I get are coming from your side. And that side is threatening with abdication (which makes it feel that you don't really have any reasons except that you want to bully a certain person).

Mmmm. Yes, Your Niftiness.

Sometimes being Kaiser really sucks. Mike and I came to a similar decisions based on totally different criteria.
This time Erik is right, though, and I'm not going to try to take political advantage.
Give it two beats, and I'll apply for Arbiter.
