One we'll need to redefine nobles. I suggest we just replace the section defining Dukes and Lesser Nobles with a section on the 3 new types.
Then the procedures will need to reflect these three classes. We can just use the Latinized/Roman names for the 3 ranks until we can get to Nick to give us Shirerithian names.
We'll also need to add a section to the Marriage law that merges houses when their heads get married.
Then we'll need to redo the section on the powers of Dukes and Lesser Nobles to reflect the new system.

If someone writes these up, at least decent drafts, I'll pay them from the Imperial Treasury. I have work for the next 3 days so won't have lots of time.

I don't see an amendment to the marriage law as necessary. That could be handled through an oath, i.e., if you want your Houses to merge, you put it in an Oath of Contract.

Fair enough. But we still need to new definitions of Nobles in the lawbook and new procedures worked out. Mostly just making 10 vote down to 1, no distribution and letting the equestrian nobles speak but not vote.
