(re)Building Houses for the new system

So, I guess we ought to start working to build up what will become the Houses in the new system.

Basicly, once the system is in place we will all be commoners again. Then we start grouping together. Each group picks a leader, and the 3 largest groups will be given Great House status. Remaining groups will likely get Minor House status. Also some within houses will get Minor House status.

I'd like to avoid one man houses of any size. So any one man units will become commoners under the direct authority of the Kaiser, until they can be absorbed into a house of one status or the other. I myself will likely remain a commoner at large. I will not be granting myself any title. If a house wanted to court me to join them after my reign, I would possibly be receptive.

So, I guess go ahead and use this thread to start working to build houses, use PM, IM... what ever you want. But let's see what we can put together. I'll try to keep a running list of groups, and who's the largest.

I'm giving people the option to move around, form up as they wish. We can only support 3 Major Houses or 3 Duchies.. so not all Duke's will make it through.

And CJMiller: No. I already said here, that during my reign I will not be joining a house.

At any rate, I'm guessing a House of Bukolos wouldn't be a huge hit, especially considering my tendency to wander off, so as things stand now I'm sort of waiting to see who else in Straylight is going to form up a House.

I would say yes. We would have to figure that out. But it makes sense, they would merge into house. It would be a good way to consolidate power and influence. If two Minor Houses merged, they might even become large enough to gain Major House status... If they can convince the Kaiser they deserve it.
