Because we are new, you know? Brookshire and Goldshire didn't exist prior to the merger. I also don't think that making everything into Indian rip-off land is adding something positive to the duchy.

You should know that the Duke actually didn't do anything that disrespected the culture or traditions of the Duchy. You should know that in fact, he confirmed you in your lands and preserved and expanded the Great Kehl. As part of the agreement I reached with Erik last night, I'm leaving culture alone. I even wrote an article into my first decree forbidding myself as Duke from promoting any religious/philosophical system. Now I want to cooperate with you so I'll bend quite a lot.
