So? I see it as the perfect position for a 'newbie'. I became Praetor not long after getting citizenship, nobody complained.
I hope people will stop nagging about 'Oooh no, it's a Kildarian!'. It's very childish and I'm not trying to get Kildarians in the best jobs.
