Yes, we will, as soon as our King signs it. This is, however, only a matter of time, because the King doesn't really have the power to reject anything that has passed the Lagerhuis.

Added your subdivisions to the bank, while I'm here. You (and Ashkenatza) will need to register a government account so I can give you starting funds. Unless you do that in the very near future, don't expect me to be on for another week or so.

He has when it is against our constitution.

Yes, that is right, but I've never seen him use that right. It is however an important right to remember.

After the recent elections it appears Batavia has ten citizens:

Jeroen van Veen
Gustaaf Vermeylen
Gert Geens
Nihill Romez
Niels Vermeersch
Charlotte de Bourbon
Arkadius des Vinandy
Alejandro Gonzalez
Pieter Brandenburg
Simon Steven
Max van Bunthe-Uné (me)

These are eleven names. Two citizens are actually one person, but since Batavian law forbids me to say who these two citizens are, I've put them both in.

I can confirm this. Give them their money! :p

Hopefully its economy becomes as successfully as the Shirerithian (btw, we have a GDP of 22521.92 erb for January 2010 alone! :kaiser ) or Gralan.

I shall require a Batavian Government Account to deposit the funds into, then we're go.

Likewise for Ashkenatza.

Is it necessary to send the password to you or can you just do the transaction anyway?

No, no, I don't need any of your passwords. I just needed an account to exist.

*Ahum*

See you already transfered the money to the 'Regering' account. Thanks!

Andreas, you have to make it a government account.

I know this isn't usual, but could you add 1 more citizen (so 7500 more)? And old citizen, Hieronymus Erasmus, came back. They haven't used the bank yet, so: please?! :love

The point is that Batavia uses voting duty to count its citizens. Hieronymus clearly forgot he had to, so he lost his citizenship like three weeks ago. Hence he technically has not been citizen for a few weeks or so.

I will say a yes, granted that I can remove the very small amount of funds from the current accounts named Jeroen and the two Mateo ones, which I believe are three Batavian accounts who joined Kildare briefly then left. Removing their funds makes it clear they weren't 'already participating'.

With respect to Andreas and the good people of Batavia, I would rather take a by-the-books approach to this. The Small Commonwaelth was provided with list of citizens for initial distribution purposes and the person in question was not a citizen at the time. The Small Commonwealth Unified Currency Treaty makes no provisions for countries gaining additional currency if additional citizens are reported after the initial distribution. I see no reason to grant an exception in this case, less we open the doors to every country attempting to claim additional funds for new citizens joining.

The minister of Economy reminded me of this...

Batavia is ready to integrate its economy. But there are several complains from influent people. The treaty still tells us that we get 10,000 credits / person. Batavia ratified that treaty, so some of us are eager to get the 10,000 Kruys / citizen. :document
If we want to do it by-the-books, then first correct the treaty Repository so other nations can't ratify the wrong treaty. :no
