I have done it before (telling that I reached it), probably here and in Batavia...

I made a 1000th post special thread.

Though.. 12'000 is a hell of a lot for 'one' board.. I wish I had made something along those lines somewhere.. but the hours!..

that count runs from august 2006 or so, we moved to our own board shortly before GSO was founded, when MNN was worried about us taking some of their "market share"

then MNN died.

I've always considered my low post count a goal. I don't like to make posts that have no meaning, so that people would know I have something to say if I actually do write a post. Of course nobody else sees it that way and I'm just kidding myself, but I don't care.

Surely, to say you aim for a low post count of posts with meaning as a goal is similar, and less productive, then stating that a high post count of all high quality posts is a goal.

Thank god that oscland's forums have been deleted...

Micronationalism certainly isn't pointless, odds would be low I would meet Becca without micronationalism!
So that is most certainly a point, all be it not one i foresaw when I started this hobby. :P
