So while I was researching our awards and knightships and stuff for http://shireroth.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11916 I came upon this:
Fifth, I commission Duke Delphi Augustus to implement a modification to the forums, allowing us to put "wiki" or "mwiki" in brackets around an item, and have it link to an article in the Wikipedia or the MicroWiki, respectively. He too shall be compensated by the Throne for his efforts.
Nice idea, but I'm not really sure we need to link to anywhere but the ShireWiki :mal . The [ wiki ] [ /wiki ] bbcode will now link your post to ShireWiki. It comes in two forms, like the url code: Just putting some text inside raw wiki tags will link to the article with the same title as the text inside, like so: Duchy of Straylight. Using a = you can link to an article with a given title, like so: link. You can quote this post to see more clearly how to write these.

Interesting. It basically eliminates the need to use the URL tags and enter the full web address.

Of course, this now serves as an even greater incentive to flesh out the Wiki with more/better articles...
