*A Colonel dressed in the field-grey of the Imperial Forces presented himself before the Duke of Goldshire*
"Your Grace,

His Imperial Majesty Kaiser Aurangzeb sends his greetings and well wishes and bids you to muster such forces as you can spare to assist in the defence of Shirekeep against the perfidious rebels, those faithless dregs of Brookshire, and dispatch them forth at the earliest opportunity."

The duke looks distant for a moment, his thoughts elsewhere. But he replies:
A portion of the Goldshire army is already camped near Shirekeep, but lacks the force to break through the Monty Crisco siege. However, in light of the Kaiser's will... an additional force will be mustered to strengthen those already deployed. With the help of the forces already in the capital, we will break the rebel siege on Shirekeep. May Kaiser Aurangzeb reign be long and prosperous.
