Mindful of our Steward's Imperial Decree #388 of 3761 ASC in which we did confer recognition upon the Provisional Authority of Amokolia as a sovereign entity newly restored to independence, and mindful of the state of war into which our neighbour the Republic of Ashkenatza has entered against the Ocian Federation in support of the righteous cause of Amokolian independence we do hereby authorise the deployment of Imperial Forces on military duties through out the continent of Benacia, excluding those territories of our brother members of the Small Commonwealth whose permission must be solicitously sought prior to any deployment or transit.

Authorised deployments shall take place with the aim of
1. Restoring the Public Peace & Common Weal amongst our Benacian neighbours;
2. Guaranteeing Amokolian independence;
3. Terminating the war on our frontiers at the earliest opportunity.

This order shall remain in effect for thirty days hence or until it is countermanded, whichever happens soonest.

It is so ordered.

I'm not sure I want us to intervene in a war with Ocians.

But against the Ocians? Come on... for once truth and beauty is on my side...

For some reason Minas Tireth (I think that's how its spelled) comes to mind. And a ham sandwich.

A safe, stable Benacia is paramount to our national security. The last thing we want as a neighbour is a disaffected Amokolia under the rule of the politically unstable Ocia, liable to lash out at little provocation and difficult to trade and cooperate with. Decrees #388 and #391 have my blessing; Shireroth and Ocia are in a state of war.

However, there is one amendment to this decree that's necessary: Ocia is certain to understand that this is not a war we're willing to sacrifice everything for. Just from political reasoning it does not seem out of the question they would attempt an attack against Shirithian civilians to pressure us to withdraw... and being that the war will be fought near our borders, it seems they have every chance to do this if we don't defend our lands.

Hence the MoMA has privilege to take any amount of forces it requires to ensure homeland safety first; attack against Ocian forces is only second priority, unless of course it turns out to be the best defense. I do not require any field commander to split their forces, but those that are feeling up to the challenge of using a diminished force should make the requisite arrangements with MoMA - this is their chance to show their talent.
