The time has come to purge the world of Ocian tyranny and restore our Amokolian neighbours to liberty. Already the storm clouds of war are gathering over Benacia. Alas there is nothing to be done about the regrettable name assigned to the conflict save but to kill the enemy quickly and trust to posterity to correct any deficiencies in the narrative.

As your Steward I seek volunteers willing to head west into the looming maelstrom of war to rescue the land from the Keltian depravity of the Ocian interlopers. I specifically require a volunteer to lead the following formation:

- Headquarters (500 HQ General Staff)
Kampfgruppe Becks (3880)
Kampfgruppe Carling (3880)
Kampfgruppe Carlsberg (3880)
Kampfgruppe Stella (3880)
I./JG 1 "Kadavergehorsam" (Air Defence)
9x F7 OAH Taifun (6,300)

Suitable remuneration will be made available to those who offer up their services. There will also be openings for experts in rapine, larceny, despoliation and brigandage. Apply within for details... deadline for volunteers is 1st September 2009 which is the actual start date of the war, or so I am reliably informed.

It's easy to learn. Just write a good story about your side of the war like a novel, kinda.

It is true that I am preparing primarily for a land campaign but that does not necessarily mean that the enemy is, so it would actually be more help to me if you had your marine expeditionary force out of Yardistan prepared for deployment.

I'll PM you chaps who have expressed an interest a somewhat more coherent semblance of a plan tomorrow.

Very good then! I'm not sure how much of it I can use in the upcoming war (should I include a naval fleet as well? The Great Western Sea Carrier Strike Group would be closest), but we can work that out later too.

Malliki Tosha, congratulations you are designated commander of the Imperial Volunteer Forces for this campaign. Your starting point for this campaign will be Shirekeep. Caution is advised when engaging land based targets. The enemy has deployed S-300 Missile systems and these can pose a significant threat to aviation assets. These may have to be identified and dealt with by special forces and or artillery from the landward side.

Also there are two cruisers attached to the enemy force - have IRS Erudition placed ahead of your main force, ready to engage the enemy ships with a nice tasty torpedo run or two.

Extreme, bless him, has done the whole mercenary thing and changed sides, launching a treacherous assault upon our forces advancing upon La Terre. So I say to you now, what I want are fighter aircraft, lots and lots of fighters... we'll sweep the bastard from the sky and avenge the stain of the Jaris War (oh the irony).
