No, it's not. If you can't take a quite moderate punishment for something you DON'T DO HERE, then you shouldn't have been Duke to begin with.

Scott made what I thought was a poignant post, listing the large number of people who used to be Dukes and now aren't, and haven't left Shireroth.
I merely added that at least you had some warning, and when I got fired from the MCS for not doing something I didn't even know I was expected to do, without warning, and when I didn't even know I could be fired, I still post on the MCS forums ...
