Unto Her Majesty, the Elw speak

Your Imperial Majesty -

I bow before your throne.

I am Ísur-Ai, Prince of the Elw of the Northern Reaches. I come from the lands of Farewell where groups and tribes have, under the wise rule of Count Avon-El, been able to join each other and resurrect the Princedom of the Elw... I am their Prince by birthright, by blood. You, Majesty, as upholder of all things Happy and Blissful, are the protector of the Elw. Remember Fort Francis! How we fought for your predecessor´s safety! Remember how we fought for the lands of Shireroth, to secure her and her people such greatness that the lands of Shireroth form the greatest empire that Micras has seen.

My people are free. My people are sovereign. My people are dependent only on their dreams. And my Lady... they give their freedom to you. They give their sovereignty to your might. May you defend them as they have sworn to defend you, against all evil, against all mares! My lady! My people of you.

I am here to pay homage to you, Majesty. Accept my homage. Accept my people´s eternal yearning for the greater height.

But remember... My people stretch across states´ borders... many of them live in Askenazic and Amokolian lands... I wish to bring them home.

Help me. Help my people. All this that I give you, I give for I believe in your kindness. My homage goes to you. It goes to Duke Nathan and William. I am their servants, but yours first and most. I have no other leader over you.

May we one day meet in one dream.

Ísur-Ai
Prince of the Elw of the Northern Reaches
Find me at Farewell.

My dear Prince,

the Elw are most highly valued by the nation of Shireroth. We will never forget the sacrifices you have made for Shireroth and for our honor and well-being. I also aknowledge the fact that your nation knows no boundaries set by mortal men. I guarantee you that your nation's wishes and aspirations are also Shireroth's. I am sure that a favorable agreement can be reached with Amokolia and Ashkenatza.

May the Goddess Anandja grant you eternal bliss and happiness.

And if shuttles are needed to bring some Elws back to your lands, just come to Apollo City and we will arange it. ;)

I'm sorry it's almost as though somebody is going round deleting my inappropriate comments. That in itself is inappropriate. :no

Oh and dear Cousin Pachad sends word that any 'shuttle' violating Ashkenatzim territory will have an 'interesting' journey.

Even those without weapons and asking approval? :o

There are, I am informed, no bilateral arrangements to facilitate unhindered cross border transit. Shirerithian transport craft of any kind would therefore be dependent on approval being granted by the Ministry of the Interior and clearance by the Security Services before being allowed to enter the sovereign territory of the Republic.

Your Majesty!

I am grateful for your reply... it warms my heart. As to the comments referred by the Pachad of Ashkenatza through our esteemed Khan, I can only say that any homecoming for the Elw would come through peaceful means. I seek no war. I seek no trespasses. All that I seek is that my nation, my tribes, will find peace, home and unity.

Shireroth will be seeking a comprehensive treaty with Ashkenatza to address all problems between our nations. It would help though if I knew which one of them to talk to. :fish Is it still Max?

Majesty! I recommend that a conference be hold to address the Ashkenatzic and Shirerithian issues. If not here, or in Ashkenatza, on neutral ground. Maybe in countries such as Stormark or Gralus.

Whoever inherits Amokolia, may they be invited too.

Stormark would be delighted to host such a conference.

Ocia is the other Nation to be invited for Amokolia has merged with Oca.

Well that's grand and I look forward to diplomacy achieving an outcome satisfactory to all parties. In the meantime however the Elwynnese Panopticon Corps' summary of the latest communications intercepts informs me that the Ashkenatzim security apparatus in the Trans-Elwynn has begun taking the usual predictable precautions.

*Facepalm*

Could they please stop interpreting every little thing written on this forum as official Shirerithian policy? Perhaps we should just invade... err... visit them to spread eternal bliss and happiness?

(OOC: Oh its fun though, like having a Jewish North Korea for a neighbour)

While they are undoubtedly, even by Babkhano-Elwynnese standards, paranoid militaristic lunatics, I should in fairness note that they are being paranoid militaristic lunatics over a proposal that is being contemplated, rather than an actual policy. Presumably they aren't too fussy about whether the blips on their radar screens belong to state or non-state actors.

One could always use the Small Commonwealth as a means to help negotiate a peace.

I would say that could be counter productive, it would just reinforce their conviction that the Small Commonwealth is a front-organisation for the Mango Throne.

If I was to venture a personal observation I would say that this matter could be encompassed in the exchange of formal diplomatic notes through official channels, without a need for the involvement of third parties and additional commentary from citizens and denizens.

Fair enough.
