To all Shirerithians, greetings!

I hereby declare that Shirekeep and all surrounding lands shall from this day forward be known as the "Imperial County", ruled over by the Kaiser or Kaiseress as zir personal demesne. I also declare that the islands known as the "Skyla Islands" shall be attached to this Imperial County, and serve as the personal holiday resort and retreat for the Kaiser or Kaiseress. Access to the islands shall be restricted to persons with an express permission from the Kaiser or Kaiseress.

I also commission the construction of a summer palace to be located on the Isle of Skyla, as well as a temple to the Goddess Anandja on the Isle of Myn.

Kinda. Not that I'm going to add "Countess of Shirekeep" or anything. I needed a name for the area and Imperial County sounded appropriate.

But you are, technically, so go ahead and add it.

To tell the truth, I'm still not quite sure were the Skyla Islands even are on the maps.

Yes, I did. Erik, you're not exactly the most active Baron around you know. But this is the way it is now. Shirekeep and Skyla are separate.

One day Shirekeep will form a rightful part of the Ducal Realm of Elwynn. It was founded on land stolen from the Elw by Kaiser Raynor after all...

Didn't we steal it from Goldshire...

Who stole it from Woodshire who in turn stole it from the Elw who stole it from... well we can't be sure, they in all probability ate their immediate predecessors.
