Imperial Decree #365: Steward and IAC
Dear citizens of Shireroth, dear Nobles, dear Ministers, greetings!
I hereby appoint Jacobus our new Steward of Shireroth. I am convinced that he will perform his duties in a wonderful way when I am away, which will be seldom.
Our dearly beloved subject Leo Dine has served the Imperial Republic well and will be rewarded for his service. This is in no way a punishment or consequence for any of his actions as Steward. He did his best to protect Shireroth and the law, and should be commended for his work.
I also dismiss all members of the Imperial Advisory Council, and appoint the following:
May the Gods bless Shireroth!
Signed by my hand, this Homersday, the Tenth of Krondokin, 3574 ASC.

Congrats, everyone. I think Leo would have been a great Steward.

He was OK. His situation was very odd, trying to hold the throne for a phantom. He will be even better next time.

Is that so odd? I've done that once

.........but with all due respect, your "phantom" was a little more of a presence

On that note. Is Erasmus gone and gone for good?

Umm, he'll probably be around as his old self when he needs some lulz.

Not wishing to revisit the past, but Erasmus was chosen by Erik.
Just saying.

At least we can say that no-one chose me.

The gods chose you, Your Niftiness!!
........but Erasmus was chosen by Erik...........
So? Nobody is perfect.
Poor Erasmus' timing didn't work out well. Maybe he'll get another shot someday.

Erik picked Icebreaker for Kaiser because he didn't want to do a double Kaisership and he knew Icebreaker would leave the throne to Ari (because Ari said he was next by the numbers). But then Ari was a dyslexic fool, so this happened.

Erasmas of the Nine Posts.....
Hey, he didn't do anything bad.
He just didn't do anything. There was prolly a reason for that. Someday we will find out.
In the mean time,
"Shireroth sumus. Tempus in parte nostrum est."
edit-
And Ari is hardly a fool. His vaporization of Erasmas is a classic.

I admire your consistency Khan however it might be prudent to keep people 'alive'.

He went the way of his Straylightan comrade, Ari Kaukainen

"Shot" does not necessarily = Dead. Just wounded.

Erasmus was chosen by Erik
I accept some of the blame for that too. What can I say? I thought he would be more active. He's certainly on IRC enough.
At least he had the decency not to hold on to power once he realized he wasn't going to do anything with it. Not all of our ex-Kaisers have been that thoughtful.

We all make mistakes. I spent two years in a Grand Commonwealth... who knew?

Oh I think mine will be
"My name is Ozymandias, Kaiser of Dukes:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
In other news, a pig has orbited the sun and there are reports of snow flurries in hell...

I will leave Shireroth for the duration of your reign, Ardy.

I dunno. Now that we don't (really) have Babkha to worry about anymore, my objections to an Ardy Kaisership are slowly disappearing. I'm sure it will happen eventually, unless Babkha resurrects itself first.

Sure, let's give the psycho-autocrat nearly unlimited authority. THAT'S NEVER GONE WRONG BEFORE!

I'm sure we could have a term specific social-contract between Ozymandias and the Imperial Advisory Council for his as yet hypothetical future reign
