Hark, all ye Faithful!

I come in eternal peace, love and understanding!
With the unfortunate absence of Kaiser Erasmas I, may he live in peace and happiness, I felt that I should take it upon myself to step in where he has come short. I offer you, the wonderful people of Shireroth, my unending love as your new Kaiseress. Let us together usher in a new era of bliss and happiness in this glorious nation, so that once again the world may turn to Shireroth and say "Hey, that's a pretty nifty place you've got there". I know that some of you will claim that my offer to you is illegal. To that I say, peace, love and understanding. The law is not there to make us not do stuff, it is there to make it easier for us to love and support each other.
For Shireroth! For love! For happiness! FOR PONY!
Support me, Anandja I, as your new Kaiseress!

I am but your humble servant, dear Sir.
Before I found the Godess Anandja in my life, I might have gone by a different name.

And of which Imperial Line?
(holds his breath)
Perhaps Kaiser Loki IV
Then again, maybe not.

Which name? If your previous name was Ari, then long live Anandja I. If not...well, we may need some proof that you are the Kaiseress.

Miracle of miracles!
I have been given family tokens that convince me that Anandja has a legitimate claim to the throne. She is indeed the long-lost great-niece of Loki III of the Line of Grifos!
All Hail the Kaiseress!

The Kaisership is to pass to Ari, seeing as he is the legitimate heir. I care not from what line Anandja comes from. If it is not Ari, she is not Kaiser.

Corey's right. I thought that maybe this was Ari trying to be hippy, but unless she can prove that she's really seven feet tall and Finnish, she can't legally take the throne.

When a person has blue blood in her veins, why stop to check what kind it is? My ancestors are of Royal blood. So am I. I do not claim that my claim to the throne is legal, I do however believe that my claim is both legitimate and right. Dear Ari is a most worthy heir. Unfortunately, he is not here. Neither is Erasmas. Therefore, I humbly offer myself to Shireroth, for the betterment of all. I will once again bring life into the Kaiseress-ship!
I now have the support of dear Sir Jacobus. I also know that I have the support of Brookshire. Love and peace for all that support Kaiseress Anandja I!

...Ari is not here? It's 3:30am in Finland...
He's been here within the past 48 hours. He's here. And it is his throne. Illegal claims to the throne have not done particularly good things for Shireroth. The long dispute between the lines of Grifos and Kalir ended with the final will of Ayreon only ~200ASC ago, do not begin another so soon.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Let's wait and see what Ari has to say.
And just to be safe, Anandja: Please don't be offended, we think merely of Shireroth's well-being.

I must ask that the people of Shireroth ignore Anandja's claim to the throne as it is an illegitimate one and opposes the wish of the current, though inactive, Kaiser.
May the will of the Kaiser be upheld,

I preliminarily support Kaiseress Anandja I, although if Ari shows up and really wants to be Kaiser and seriously thinks he'd do a better job and is willing to start RIGHT NOW, I guess I'd grudgingly support peaceful succession according to the rule of law.

Dear Steward, it is not my wish to yank the Kaisership from out of Ari's hands. The people will know that with me they get an active, loving and loyal Kaiseress. While you do have many powers as Steward, controlling the will of the people is not one of them.
Dear Scott of Hyperborea, I thank you with all my heart for your support.
Go in peace,

Anandja,
I must begin by saying that I find myself in a particular situation. Having been appointed Steward by the people I feel obliged to fulfill the duty of the said position to the best of my extents. While you are absolutely correct to say that I have no power over the people, my power lies in the upholding of the Kaiser's will, and the maintenance of Shireroth.
Now the problem with the duality of this duty is that in this particular case, the Kaiser has stated that Ari would take the throne which is a decree I am required to uphold and doing so involves asking the people to disregard your claim. Now the issue arises because you seem to offer prosperity for Shireroth and already have the support of some of the prominent citizens. Seeing as with my current experience I would not be a better alternative for the position I must acknowledge that accepting you would fulfill the second aspect to my duty.
The will of the Kaiser is absolute. If, however, you could find a way around that, and I'm sure that there are more then a few people willing to help, I would be more then willing to support you. Until then however I must oppose you.

Steward Leo, there is no way around a decree unless a legitimate Kaiser annuls it. Hold your position, you have my support. I know your position, and it is a tough role to fill so early in your Shirithian career. To uphold the true succession of the Mango Throne is sometimes a very hard job.

Dear Steward Leo, it is not my intent to make your position more difficult. My only advice to you is to follow your heart. All will be revealed and with the support of Godess Anandja, happiness will follow. Go in peace.

Yes, Her Niftiness has sworn us to peace. (grumble)
Leo, your nobility is unquestioned. Yet if Her Niftiness is indeed the Kaiseress as anointed by the gods, then it is your duty to aid her.
There is a Law beyond the written law. If the Kaiser ceases to act as Kaiser, then he is Kaiser no more.

I ask that we all wait until Ari returns before anyone jumps to any conclusions. Until such a time I would kindly ask you Anandja to refrain from taking the office of Kaiser or speaking for the office. I would hear his view in the matter before I proceed.

Then why has he no acted? Shireroth needs resolute leadership.
(Or Erik)
Her Niftiness can supply that, and lead us down the path of resolute peace.

Ari has certainly been around as of late. I believe in the last week he has been out lumberjacking or some such (a clear sign that he should be made Kaiser with haste!).
Erasmas, I cannot and will not speak for. He has been absent without excuse, and he should be dethroned and replaced with his heir, not with this pretender.

We stand with Corey on this. However, should Ari not wish to ascend the throne, then we would be more than happy for the Kaiseress-Apparent to take the throne (assuming she is, of course, of royal blood. We have yet to see proof of that.) I really have far too many problems to deal with at the moment in Elwynn, but I'm sure this will all be sorted once I get back from Nordland. Also, I'm sure that Duke Allot would agree with me.

Well, if the dispute continues the SCIRA judge can always declare civil war, which would give us a good chance to test SCIRA ...
