The Kaiser is Dead; Long Live The Kaiser! His Niftiness Agni I has left the throne in unclear circumstances, and although certain elements couldn't even wait an hour for the designated heir to show up, we now have a new Kaiser, Erasmas I (yes, that's Erasmas with two a's). KNEEL BEFORE ZODRASMAS! MALARBOR DEMANDS IT!
Elwynn has refused to wind down after the rebellion and has directed her energies to cultural work instead: The Academy has been opened with historical studies (and if you're interested in Elwynnese history, don't miss Scott's writeup on The White Orchid Goddess); A campaign of flagification has made Elwynn the only Duchy in Shireroth with a flag for every one of its subdivisions; and various interesting events have been taking place here and there.
In pan-Micran news: Our old friends the Gralans are back with a vengeance; our other old friends the Batavians have become a Kingdom instead of a Commonwealth again; and Shireroth is planned to be featured in the first issues of a (the?) new, currently unnamed, micronationalist webcomic. MALARBOR LOOKS FORWARD TO TOWERING OVER THE CASTLE OF SHIREROTH IN THE NEW WEBCOMIC!
