Succession of the ducal throne

I feel that Baron Jess of the United Isles is ready to handle Yardistan, as he has satisfied most of my concerns about such. We have reached a deal where sovereignty over Yardistan is his until Christmas 2009, where it will be handed back to me, under penalty of law and angry mob rebellion. If he should pass on the throne to another before the time specified, the deal holds with his heir as well.
