At any rate: the standard apologies for the absence. A combination of drifting away, and being pulled away. I think this is actually starting to become a feature of most things that I do online... drifting away, coming back, drifting away, coming back. Being a bit nomadic. I'm going to try not to be quite so much of a hermit, though.

If anybody's tried to contact me, though, I'm guessing you haven't had much luck. I managed to get locked out of my email account, somehow (as a result of which I am no longer going to use Yahoo for email again), and with the resulting change in email address I also had to try to change everything that used the old address. That included moving to a new ICQ account, as well.

But anyway, I recently realized that I'd been away from here for quite a while, and that probably no one knew what had happened to me, so: here I am, I'm okay. I'm going to try to get caught up with everything, if I can. Obviously, first and foremost on the list, how is Carol doing (as the thread at the top of General ends in January)? Is she coming along okay?

PS: Ahhh, I now see that the quote in my sig is now even more appropriate than ever before. Sweet.
