I wish to create a race...

They could not have begun in any sanct (except maybe Blavatsky, but this is still a stretch, since they are not a good match). It would be more appropriate for them to have called a forest home.

If it's not too much, I'd like to take up another county for this project, preferably one that where I really can't interfere with too much existing culture and duchy politics/economics. Whether I am made a count or not is inconsequential. If it means anything, this race, the Swnnderrr, does not reside in Shireroth anymore, as they left the country for Hurmu after the ascension of Reynardine I (the reasoning for this will be explained when I begin writing), and I feel that Hurmu is the wrong place to put this stuff (messing with Hurmu is some sort of taboo).

Is there any Duke and/or Baron willing to allow me a county?

If you need a forest, Vervollkomung comes to mind, except that was recently given to Peter as a County. You'd have to check with him if he was happy for your race.

The County of Lesser Attera can be yours if you are willing to defend it should someone wish to fight you for the title of Count.


Right now you can be named Count and there isn´t hardly anything there to interfere with at this point.
