Shamless electioneering-

Friends, Shirithians, Countrymen, lend me your ears; or 17 erb: or a kitchen appliance.

I've thrown my hat into the ring for the Stewardship. Why, you may ask.

Yes, you, in the back --

(why?). :magigarp

Glad you asked. It's a knee-jerk reaction of mine to grab for power and prestige. But since none of that was available, so I said whattheheck.

Being Steward was probably the most fun I had a a Shirithian. The heady days under Mors V, and the tug-of-war for power under Hasan. Sticking my nose in every department, and everybody's business. Making a nuisance of myself, and having a reason and/or excuse to do it.

Good times. :yay:

But, why you again? You've already done it.

A valid point, which I will ignore, except to say that we have had the same person as Kaiser over and over, so the precedence exists.

Now, all of the candidates are worthy, so I will not show the photographs of them in a group doing something that would disqualify them, especially as no such photograph exists-----

....Or does it???

Of course not. (Nods vigorously.) :thumbsup

Let's just say that a vote for me is a vote for whatever makes you feel secure and happy, :love and a vote for my opponents is a vote against everything that is good :evil and Shirithian.

Thank you.
*******************************************************

Seriously (almost), :document Shireroth has showered me with everything a micronationalist could want.

Corey, Icebreaker and Jess are all Nifty, and worthy. I'll do the job of Steward if you ask me to, with an eye to a return to the Throne as my Not-So-Secret Evil Plan.

If you think I'm too weird and psychopathic for the job, consider giving it to Jess. I mean Ari and Corey and Icebreaker are all Straylightians. Nothing wrong with Straylight. It's neat. But give another Duchy a turn, especially Yardistan.

Give the mildly psychotic useful work. Vote for Jake!

You do realize the people you should be trying to sway are the Dukes.. right? Not the people as a whole.

I know. :fish
I'm just too lazy to do this five times......... :document

Besides, the people might lobby their Dukes. HINT!
(waives to the people)

And they'll sway or they won't. :D

(mimicking hula dancer)
Aloha-hoi, aloha-hoi..........

As every Duchy has a advisory council these days, I think Jake is best to get the support of normal people.

BAH! It sounds like democracy! :angry

Tell me about it. This was meant for the Landsraad alone.

Indeed... It would appear you are ahead in the vote. Which I find amusing in a disturbing way considering...

Considering? :mal :) :magigarp

Under one duke, one vote, I'd have it.

As it is, it comes down to Straylight, which may be oddly appropriate.......

Except in elections, where there is a weighted vote. As is, I'm only one point ahead of Corey.

It's 13-12-9-6. Mathematically, Icebreaker is out, he could only get to 10. With a first place vote, Jess could tie with points, but I've got 3 first place to his theoretical 2.

So it's down to me and Corey, which is re-assuring, in an odd way......

If there's a tie the person who gets the most first place votes shall win the job.

Ok, let me go read it again.

Jacobus, you have won unless I get two more votes than you. With Straylight being the deciding vote, this will be quite a curious outcome, I'm sure. :)

In any event, the nation will be well-served. Either way someone who has been Steward and Kaiser for the better part of the last year will get the job.

No excuses for either of us.

Then comes the question can the steward work well with the CURRENT Kaiser...
