I found you through a friend, he is the Count of Highpass and highly respected among TwoChairs. I'm sure I shall enjoy my stay at Shireroth.

While you are waiting, you might want to read this

And please tell me if you found the section on roleplaying (section 3) understandable. I recently rewrote it but I'm afraid the end result is a little bit on the opaque side

I wouldn't worry if I were you. I managed to understand it perfectly.

The parade of Dukes & such seeking a citizen will commence.
As Kaiser, I am utterly impartial.
As a Yardistani,
Long Live Duke Prodigy!

BUI being the Barony of the United Isles in Yardistan!
I'm Duke Prodigy, Anarch (Duke) of Yardistan! As of late, we have many names in our registry, but everything looks better on paper. Really, it's me and Jess and Gryphon. And of course, our wonderful Kaiser Loki III is a Yardistani! How could you go wrong?
And, indeed, there are many openings for Count-ship. How would you like your own county to develop and culturalize at your wish?

I would like to join the Duchy of Brookshire please. Is there anything specific I need to do now or just wait until this is accepted?

Go to Brookshire and get yourself acquainted with the locals, maybe ask for a county. Your application has been approved, so you're good to go.
