there aren't many positions open in the imperial government. One way to get your hands on some power and a nifty "government" job is to become a count. Counts get their own counties to rule, subject to their baron and duke. There are several counties currently vacant in Brookshire.

I'll have to update the wiki to point out that I sometimes pass Straylight's emissaryship to the Landsraad around. With our reasonably small government and large population, it'd probably be one of the easiest ways for newbies who want to to be involved in Landsraad proceedings

I have a question. On the Guide for the Perplexed it said one way to become a noble is to marry in. How do you marry in micronations?

Well, you need to embark on an epic quest, to find a female micronationalist. They're almost as rare as kind-hearted Babkhans, but there are some out there. Once you've found one, you ask them to marry you. If they refuse, embark on a second, greater epic quest to find more than one female micronationalist. Repeat until they accept.

HOWEVER, there aren't that many marriagable females with nobility positions in Shireroth, and if you marry overseas, they get YOUR nobility position, unfortunately.
