To his Niftyness.

Dear His Niftyness,
I come to you today as a humble neighbor of Shireroth, on behalf of my homeland, Amokolia. We have been threatened by the Ashkenatza national government, they have threatened to invade us, and we are entirely surrounded on our southern boarder by Ashkenatza now. We come to ask for your protection of our nation, we can pay any price, any price is a small one, for my little nations safety, we have done nothing wrong, and they threaten us. Help us, please.
Sincerely,
Jess Heimer, Interim Leader of Amokolia

Sire,
The Amokolian people are but friends to the Shirerithian empire. Right now the country is experiencing some political difficulties, trying to get back on their feet as a proud nation. So, the Ashkenatzim decide to put pressure on Amokolia, which, in my opinion, would be means to destabilize Amokolia and hinder Amokolia's political development.
The Amokolian nation holds Shireroth in high esteem. This is evidenced by their study into joining Shireroth as a duchy to save the nation from utter extinction amidst the political crises.
If the Ashkenatzish-Amokolian dispute continues, this could also destabilize the region and make Shireroth, in the long turn, suffer.
Yours,
Count Avon-El of Cape Farewell

hmmm. That's an annoying font. For that they should be punished. Sadly, my predecessor kinda got us stuck in the whole Nelega conflict, so our forces are stuck fighting over there in that meaningless conflict.
I send my support to the Amokolian people. I will investigate this. Perhaps you could call on the Small Commonwealth to make a statement of condemnation and appeal to the commonwealth as a whole to come to your aid, not just Shireroth.

Sire,
I strongly suggest most humbly that you and Mr Heimer bring this matter to the Commonwealth for discussion as it not only now is a threat to Amokolian sovereignty but part of a plan of subjugating Shireroth to a "new order".
Jess Heimer says:
ardishir
Ardy says:
evening
Jess Heimer says:
whats with the ashkenatza thing
Ardy says:
oh our little border war with Tellia went better than anticipated
Jess Heimer says:
oh
Jess Heimer says:
why involve us
Ardy says:
Benaciastadt, I think the Noshi (Max) desires the entirety of that as well... and that from you lot is all
Ardy says:
but as for your erst while tellian persona viewtopic.php?f=6&t=181&p=1168#p1168 Chris noticed the proposal to have him executed
Jess Heimer says:
We will not give away Amokolian territry
Jess Heimer says:
unless you give us 4x more than you want
Ardy says:
I do not believe it is presently in our interests to cede territory in return for restoring order to Benaciastadt
Jess Heimer says:
we have order, and lollipops
Ardy sanI'm sure we will bring better order and confiscate the lollipops...
Jess Heimer says:
and we have ham and bacon
Ardy says:
and ham and bacon will definately be verboten as it is against our dietary laws
Ardy says:
so you will see we have to take action to prevent pork being smuggled into the Republic - it is harsh but necessary
Jess Heimer says:
you'll see what happens
Ardy says:
Oh well Tellian pacification matters to attend to in the meantime
Jess Heimer says:
its a shame
Ardy says:
Tis - you could always embrace the new order on Benacia though
Jess Heimer says:
Shireroth has always been there.
Ardy says:
Shireroth too will come to embrace the new order. The Rozenkhan Protocols shall serve to unify the entire continent.
Jess Heimer says:
no.
Jess Heimer says:
Amokolia will never cave into pressure.
Ardy says:
Pressure? Why no pressure - just the friendly diplomatic dialogue of the nations
May I especially point out to you the following:
Jess Heimer says:
Shireroth has always been there.
Ardy says:
Shireroth too will come to embrace the new order. The Rozenkhan Protocols shall serve to unify the entire continent.
Thank you for your time, sir.
Count Avon-El of C. Farewell.

As the new Nohsi of the Ashkenatzi Republic I must protest.
Shirereithan accusations against Ashkenatza seem to be entirely unfounded and tenuous at best thanks to the antics of Jess Heimer, whose notorious terrorist-related activities in Tellia have threatened many Ashkenatzim.
The Tellian government agreed to an Ashkenatzi annexation of their country last weekend and the Tellian King defected to the Republic, so our presence there is fully legal.
as it not only now is a threat to Amokolian sovereignty but part of a plan of subjugating Shireroth to a "new order".
I must apologise for Minister Ben Mavet's speech here- my foreign policy has no plans whatsoever to subjugate Shireroth to a new order, whatever that may be. And myself as a Shirereithan citizen, I can vouch for that.
Ben Mavet's accusations are totally non-representative of the views of the Ashkenatzi National Knesset and I assure you I shall be severely reprimanding him for any breach in relations caused by this unfortunate incident.
And far be it for me to say, that any friction between Ashkenatza and Amokolia was undoubtedly caused by Jess Heimer himself. Not only was his rhetoric of 'bombing the Jews' inflammatory and not helpful to establishing Inner Benacian Peace, but was found deeply offensive by some.
Additionally, the only 'threatening' Ashkenatza has done is to reclaim the portion of the city of Benaciastadt which was rightfully theirs due to the annexation of Tellia and Treaty of Klymenburg. To my knowledge (and I believe I should know, being Head of Government) there have been no Ashkenatzi military incursions- covert or overt- into Amokolian sovereign territory. Amokolia is frankly a matter of indifference to us.
Your accusations have no legal basis. And now I challenge you to prove me otherwise.

Evidently he can't.
But I'm pleased you resorted to some kind of Gentilesse rather than a childish rant, Jess.
Now, why am I wrong?

May I remind everyone that the original comment of "bombing the Jews" was AFAICT a reference to the Ashkenatzim and therefore has minimal relation to anything that may be happening in any world where people like "Israelis", "Palestinians", and "Muslims" exist? As an Imperial Advisor, I recommend that the Kaiser remove from his Court anyone who insists on using it to discuss this absurd fiction of a "Middle East" for whose existence the people of Micras have no evidence whatsoever
(ie: take it to the Shrine of Controversy if you must)
Max, I have a question for you. You're clearly taking control of the Tellian portions of Benaciastadt because you annexed Tellia. What's your legal justification for taking over the Amokolian portions?

Next person to resume that topic about jews and bombs will be displeased with the results. I moved the posts to the Shrine of Controversy.. take it up there...
Back to the topic at hand.
Is there a legal claim here? I am not informed to these foreign matters, and will not involve Shireroth in a legal dispute that does not concern her.
As for the comment about "Submitting to a new order".. I laugh at the very idea that one would even have the dream of submitting Shireroth to any order. Shireroth is by historical definition incapable of submitting. So let's move on.
I would also recommend, Jess, that you take this before the Small Commonwealth. The commonwealth may actually be in a better position to handle this then myself.

For the time being I have asked the MCS to put the land claim on hold concerning this.

Annexation of the Amokolian portion of Benaciastadt was an action taken by the Ashkenatzer Militerish Kraft and its commander of Operation Arein, Pachad Emet Ben Mavet, to ensure that no Amokolian reprisal attacks occurred.
We all know that Jess can be a hothead sometimes, and his actions in legally annexed Tellia have caused concern- as a nation with the democratic duty of protecting its new Tellian citizens, we have a right to occupy sectors of land which would otherwise threaten their wellbeing and ives.
I wasn't in favour of the occupation of Benaciastadt, and if Jess wants I can, in my power as Nohsi, override the Militerish Kraft and request that they remove their troops from Amokolian Sovereign Territory. All Jess has to do is to refrain from attacks on ethnic Ashkenatzim and Tellians.
I think that's a fair and civilised deal.
Shireroth currently objects to this claim as a case was brought before us against it's legality. We're still in the process of trying to figure out what the hell is going on. But as we were requested to help, we ask that this claim be put on hold for the time being.
As you said in the MCS forum, Your Niftiness- I contest your decision to put the claim on hold- firstly because you have no MCS authority, and secondly because you yourself admitted that you're not too well-informed of the facts (aside from those fed to you by Jess)- as such, I hope that my attempts at resolving this dispute change your opinion.
EDIT: the fact remains that Ashkenatza legally annexed Tellia and our MCS claim makes no representation whatsoever or any temporary occupations of Amokolian land which may be the case as of the present.

What do you mean I have no MCS authority? As Kaiser of Shireroth I represent Shireroth in the MCS, I am authorized to go before the MCS and make such a request. Now, I retracted that request since I have a better idea of what is going on now.
Honestly, I would put the blame on this being more then it needs to be on your government for sending troops into the territory of another nation. Now I advise you remove them so I can go back to not caring about this...

I merely meant you're not a member of the admin council, not that you don't have the right to petition a request to the MCS...
I shall contact the Militerish Kraft immediately. But be warned that any Amokolian incursions onto Ashkenatzi soil- covert or otherwise- shall initiate reprisals from our armed forces. I hope that much is clear.

Well, then it's on their head and not my problem.
And the MCS comment then still doesn't really make sense, but whatever, let us not dwell on this matter.
Now, there you go Jess. Your land is now free again. Be happy and behave.

As do I. I also applaud Nohsi Rosenthal for being a real mensch and allowing a peaceful solution, and Jess, for remaining calm and alerting us to the situation, and really everyone involved in this situation except Ardashir (as usual). This is an excellent example of Shireroth's ability to use its leverage to mediator disputes and be a force for good in the Western Hemisphere. We bestride Benacia like a mighty colossus that bestrides things! Woo!

I'd word it differently. Sure, he has the right to petition the MCS. The MCS doesn't have any official responsibility to listen to him, however.
