He's one of us! Let's not think of it as "someone else's", but rather "one of ours'".

I meant someone's personal space.... that wasn't specifically aquired for the nation.... I just think it's to risky, to many places for something to go wrong and us get fucked over... E. Metzler (UEC)Count of Monty CriscoFounder of the MCS"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSJoin Shireroth

Oh, old Antica's staying up? I thought you said that was going to go down again soon a while ago. Well, good to know that's staying around.By the way, if you prefer (and this goes for all the other Duchies too) you can have your Duchy site hosted at subdivisions.shireroth.org/yourname. In fact, I should probably talk to Sager about that now that Foggy's gone.
Re: Imperial Proclamation: phpBB, Free Hosting, and a Transf
Yeah, I was going to let the hosting end, but then I realized that even with my pitiful wages, I can afford $4 a month to keep up that hosting and have plenty of space and bandwidth free for any other ventures I decided to undertake. As a matter of fact, right now, it's where I'm currently hosting the Duchy of Antica's site.I'd be happy to get it at subdivisions.shireroth.org/antica/, but only if I'd be able to have it as such that I'd be able to edit it when I need to (i.e. FTP access to that directory).

Erik, the only difference, as Greg said, is actually paying. Hell, if you're going to be anal about it, write up an agreement and have both of you sign it - that's about as legal as paying for it yourself would be.Just try to consider the possibility that the world won't explode if you don't own the server hosting us. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

I wasn't even talking about me owning the server... I was talking about SHireroth as a organization owning it.. Get off my back Moose... E. Metzler (UEC)Count of Monty CriscoFounder of the MCS"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GSJoin Shireroth

You are being pretty ridiculous about this whole thing, though.

PS: If you actually read the agreements from pay hosts, nearly all of them reserve the right for the host to terminate your account at any time. That's so much more secure than Dean's very very generous offer. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...

I know that I am but a humble foreigner here, but my question about shireroth.org has not been answered. That would probably be the best solution, if you could host it there, no?

Domain names don't have capabilities, the servers they point to do. Hence, the question is, "Does Greg's server have the ability to do blah blah?", which it has already been said does. They call it a signature, but no one ever signs their posts...
