Personally, on the economy, I find post based ones work, partly because people always see they're earning money, but even then, you need productive stuff to use the money on, and if you don't have that, no economic system is going to help you.

Yes, and thats a good point. The main reason why economies fail to work is simply because we are internet based and we lack anything tangible which could be used as a product. The usual list goes along the lines of Custom Signatures, Advertisement space etc... but with an economy in which currency is tacked to a vote, it works a bit differently. Because ambitious people wish to have more voting power, many are willing to do more for the country to gain it and justly so, because to put in more work means you should get a greater share from the spoils than someone who is shiftless and lazy. So if someone goes to the trouble of writing a Shirewiki article, they should be paid for it, if someone writes a story, if someone writes a piece of legislation, etc... These are the elements which make a micronation interesting and more active. By producing more of them, activity in increased in the process and as a result of the endeavor. When I wrote this economic model, the idea was that work can be commissioned but work completed can also be submitted for a bounty. That way, people are not sitting around waiting for an opportunity to come. Instead, they are rewarded for their initiative. The main necessity (and the reason why I believe it would work in Shireroth) is the element of rivalry. In Babkha things slowed down because most Babkhans are generally friends. None of its citizens are climbing over each other to become Grand Vizier or Shah because most citizens either already have been or are about to, and at the internal level, everyone is treated approximately as an equal. However, Shireroth (especially now) has rivalry. There are different internal elements aiming to gain their status. With an economic system like this, more work completed equals more status.
For example, if this economic model were already in place now, Jacobus and I would both be working at a furious rate producing as many culture products as we could in an attempt to gain more votes. This in turn generates activity either through discussion or for the further aims of production. Perhaps I'm over complicating the concept, but the general idea is there.

No, I completely understand what you mean. I tried doing it in Novatainia the opposite way - we have a post based economy and shops, and I worked out a tax system so the government to get money, so they could pay people to do things like that. Unfortunately, people by this time had plenty of money, and all we got out of it was a website and a wiki (which has been half filled in by me) ...

It is a measure of Shireroth that we have such talent.

Brookshire kneels before the throne of Kaiser Hasan I and Steward Jacobus Loki.
This was no single judgment of whom is the "better" or more "fit" leader, but of many different potentialities. I believe as a team they will be a most potent force in Shireroth history, steeped in tradition and honor. I hope to see Jacobus ascend as Loki III when the reign of Hasan I comes to an end at the elapsed time. And with the Charter in place, and myself as Arbiter, I fear nothing, but for our enemies, as we move forth once again unto the world.
Brookshire has spoken and must now go find Dinner.

I also offer my personal congratulations to both, and Atterock's fealty to you. I am confident that Brookshire's solution will be very good for Shireroth and look forward to both this Kaisership and the one to come.
Sakat infers that history will be good for the next few months, and blesses you accordingly.

I have sent word to the Prophet. And hear that he plans to bestow the Sword of Vengeance to the Kaiser tomorrow in a coronation ceremony.
Brookshire swears fealty to the Kaiser, Hasan I, and his Steward Jacobus Loki.
