That isn't reasonable, I agree. At least they should try and make it look less conspicuous- by calling it something like, say, Mangostan or Mangoria.

Many names are taken from Warcraft 1 not WoW.... I'm old-school... But I am personally trying to move away from names taken from games when I can... (As long as I can still spell and pronounce them...)

If I may be so bold-

The MCS map shows a strip of unclaimed territory East of the Elwynn River, as well as a strip west of Caligae.

We should at least get that as a gesture of good will from MCS.

And who claims that weird brown colour to the west? My old eyes can't quite figure it out?

Oh, and sorry for the strange shape of Amokolia's claim. I designed it back in the days when I was an MCS council member, and thought if the nation had control over the top of the river through Benacia as well as a seaport, 'twould be a good thing for them.
Their loss, I suppose. In retrospect it gives Shireroth an excuse to have all the unclaimable land around it- and you're lucky the Amokolians haven't poisioned the river source or blown up the Elwynn Sluice or something!

You know, the idea of bombing the sluice was originally Sep's, back when everyone in the CIS had the idea that Shireroth detonated a nuclear device in Kahbah. He wanted the Congans, Jamzinians, and CIS government troops to destroy the sluice to stop the Shirereithans from attacking the southern CIS territories such as Tchistanski, whilst allowing the rest to creep past where Amokolia is now and avoid the flooding.
'Twas quite clever, I think. But it never worked because Sep used the incident as an excuse for war. When we all realised that's what he did it for, his downfall from CIS leadership began, I suppose.

I remember that crisis. That was, in all my years of foreign ministering, the stupidest crisis I was ever forced to waste my time getting involved with.

Quite. Being only an insignificant layman in the CIS administration then (before I bece CIS leader for the princely duration of one week), I actually thought there was some truth behind it. Pah!

Uh... where did this thing about wanting Amokolia to join Shireroth come from? They're planning to maybe join Gralus or not, but they definitely don't seem to be interested in joining Shireroth. Besides, their land is on Benacia anyway, it wouldn't help us look more like an empire if we did manage to annex them

Client state, but either way it probably won't happen unless Da.Huntsman (new president, thanks to betrayal by my own vassal) decides it's good to allow them...

Oh, I think the question is more who chose?

That actually sounds more like Shireroth--only the dukes and barons may speak in the Landsraad, and only the dukes may vote--the ones on top make the decisions, and the people live with them.
