I changed it to . I was just giving you a hard time. Don't you all get so uptight about it.And it should stay . It's been since Erik thought it up. It allows us to use the Euro symbol if we don't have the emoticon handy. We ought to keep it. 3e knowe ek that in fourme of speche is chaunge / With-inne a thousand 3eer, and wordes tho / That hadden pris now wonder nyce and straunge / Us thenketh hem, and 3et thei spake hem so, / And spedde as wel in loue as men now do...

Actually, right after I wrote tha post I changed it.So, back to design issues, what should we do for the back? Because the front is easy, but we don't really have any national landmarks to put on the back and I am trying to keep the note as serious as possible (we don't want monopoly money for our currency). So yeah.I'm actually really wishing that the MiniTrade had a seal. That would add a lot to the bill. 3e knowe ek that in fourme of speche is chaunge / With-inne a thousand 3eer, and wordes tho / That hadden pris now wonder nyce and straunge / Us thenketh hem, and 3et thei spake hem so, / And spedde as wel in loue as men now do...

I'll see what I can do about making official seals for the different Ministries. That was something I was pondering.Anyone who has input on that is welcome to assist. And who would have thought that my fate, it would conjure this twist in the road on which I have wandered?Each vision and dream now completely dismembered, to give one's whole life and find nothing's remembered...And what good is a life that leaves nothing behind? Not a thought or a dream that might echo in time

I'm afraid if I had a seal it wouldn't get along so well with the new puppy, not to mention I wouldn't know where to put it (badum-ching!)http://www.banknotes.com has a lot of really pretty notes you could look at for inspiration (and some borders you could steal); otherwise, what about just some sort of medieval looking castle or town? You could make something out of the Hgraasreign picture on the Calendar. "Whenever I hear the word 'culture', I reach for my revolver." - Herman Goering

There's always this if you're looking for real places. Gryphon the Pure- Shirithian Elder - Dutch of Kildare - Minister of the Interior - High Priest of Apostrophe aka Grammar Fuhrer - Director of the Shirithian Census - Imperial Advisor -q=parseInt(Math.random()*gryphSig.length);q=(isNaN(q))?0:q;document.write(gryphSig[q]);q=parseInt(Math.random()*gryphSig.length);q=(isNaN(q))?0:q;document.write(gryphSig[q]);q=parseInt(Math.random()*gryphSig.length);q=(isNaN(q))?0:q;document.write(gryphSig[q]);

Joseph, you're a genius. Unfortunately, that pictures is a wee bit small. I'll see if I can drum anything else up. 3e knowe ek that in fourme of speche is chaunge / With-inne a thousand 3eer, and wordes tho / That hadden pris now wonder nyce and straunge / Us thenketh hem, and 3et thei spake hem so, / And spedde as wel in loue as men now do...

Well, part of what I'm trying to do is make something in the vein of serious currency. Pictures of real Shirerothians. Pictures of real things important to us. Like I said earlier, I'm not out to make Monopoly money. On top of that, I don't want to make up landmarks just so we can put them on currency. In as much as Shireroth is a real functioning nation, I want the currency I design to look real. 3e knowe ek that in fourme of speche is chaunge / With-inne a thousand 3eer, and wordes tho / That hadden pris now wonder nyce and straunge / Us thenketh hem, and 3et thei spake hem so, / And spedde as wel in loue as men now do...

Well, Sonoma seems our best bet since we claim it as our capital. Here are some other images I managed to dig up from their website:http://www.sonoma.edu/university...ages ... s/15.jpgOr you could just stick our coat of arms on the back, sort of like this note Or a scene from our mythology, if you can find anything that looks similar to any of the myths anywhere.

We should probably determine who's going on what denominations. I think Erik should be on the largest one; or alternately the most common. And who would have thought that my fate, it would conjure this twist in the road on which I have wandered?Each vision and dream now completely dismembered, to give one's whole life and find nothing's remembered...And what good is a life that leaves nothing behind? Dunno if we should have people who are still with us on there - it'd be very awkward having money with your own picture on it. I wouldn't mind a dStryker (if any of us have pictures of him) or a Lukedu or Foley (same caveat). Otherwise, perhaps Erik should just get to be on all of them, and the difference can be the color and the thing on the back. It is a really good picture of him. All of the names Scott mentioned should be on the money I think.

Indeed. British money is boring because you are always staring the Queen in the face.The thing is, I have pictures of Erik (my dad actually took that one). While I may have a few of Lukedu thanks to highschool yearbooks, it is going to be difficult to get really old peop;e who we never had pictures of. 3e knowe ek that in fourme of speche is chaunge / With-inne a thousand 3eer, and wordes tho / That hadden pris now wonder nyce and straunge / Us thenketh hem, and 3et thei spake hem so, / And spedde as wel in loue as men now do...
