Quote:I hate to say this (because i know it doesn't sound good to some people)...but Bush needs to be out of office. He's heightened our deficit, caused the dollar to plummit ($1~£0.50!), sent hundreds of people off to war, restricted the rights of every american citizen, earned the ire of half of europe, and used scare tactics to keep us scared of terrorist attacks that aren't going to happenAnd don't forget all the jobs that have been lost. Oh, and according to W, outsourcing to other countries is a GOOD thing! Tell that to the millions of unemployed Americans!I like Shireroth more every time I come here! Non-conservatives in micronations! Cool!Pendronia and Hanover are just filled with conservatives. Sir Nicholas McAlpinPrime MinisterKingdom of Pendronia

I like conservatives. I don't like their views, but I do like talking about it if they are intelligent about there beliefs. The problem is people think their parties are the greatest thing ever and just automatically think that the other is inferior and doesn't have a right to its view. I should probably say, in the last couple days, two conservatives I tend to have a lot of disagreements with have surprised me by being in favor of civil unions for gays and lesbians. Gives me hope that not all conservatives are...hopeless. Sir Nicholas McAlpinPrime MinisterKingdom of Pendronia

it's really not that far from the truth. The Real GDP growth of Republican administrations is always smaller then Democrat administrations as they keep taxes on the wealthiest low and prevent inflation in order to protect the value of the wealth of the rich. Of course, they're not totally blind to Keynesian economics (even though their rhetoric would imply otherwise) and will raise those percentages when they need to, but as a general rule they will keep their core constituents all nice and cuddly with them by protecting their wealth. And so we lay,We lay in the same grave,Our chemical wedding day...

Keep in mind, the United States is the only nation in the world that can claim it has been led by, not one, but TWO pieces of vegetation.
