OW NO!!
Actually, I can show you some other topics where I wrote 'oh' instead of 'ow'. :thumbsup
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

A - Regardless, it has no place in the Charter. Furthermore, according to the Charter (at least until you amended it), voting percentages and internal rules are for the Landsraad alone to decide.

B - So you respond to some friendly bickering with a Charter amendment? There is no risk as I see it that a duchy could ever get annexed by another duchy against the will of its duke. The law protects the duchies.

I was the one "screwing with laws", Mike. You were being Arbiter.

Probably, but you can't blame me for interpreting

As being aimed at me. Probably not, but I'm a bit POed at this whole situation, so I'm reading a lot into stuff right now.

I hear that. Our medium does not lend itself well to the wink and nod and silly voice/walk.

My comment was an extension of yours, not a response Mike.

You've probably said this already but I'm too lazy to trawl through another thousand posts to find it.
No Duke or Duchy shall be deprived of it's equality without the consent of the Kaiser, the Duke of the Duchy concerned, and the Landsraad.
Corey was happy with the new economic system. All the other Dukes seemed willing to give it a try for at least a month. It could quite easily still be valid under this ... (until we have time to rebel and remove that clause, anyway :demon )
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave.
However, this account still manages:
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy

And references may be made to Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn (a Nelagan Micron of undisclosed purpose).

Jonas, your case for Kaisership is growing thin ....

Yes, but this introduces a new decision procedure. It needs express consent from the Kaiser, not just something we think he thinks, it requires express consent from any affected Duke and express consent from the Landsraad. Until such a measure is introduced under this amendment, the old Erb-for-votes system is illegal. If something similar was introduced and given consent from the Kaiser, the dukes and the Landsraad, it would probably be okay. I hope my reasoning is clear. Also, the old system was the target for this amendment, if we circumvene the amendment, what good is it? Why is it there? (Something I asked myself from the beginning...)
