Foxes are only bred and raised commercially for their pelts. I can't really see this being a desireable thing for an animal lover.

Yes, they are. But they are not tame enough to keep as pets. I really don't think you want to raise them for their primary commercial purpose.

see a pack of wolves maybe but you see I've known a pony, yes a pony, who killed a doberman. Said doberman was chewing on her tail so she kicked him in the skull. Dead Doggy. I don't think a fox would pose much of a threat to even a miniature horse.

hah shows what you know. I've known plenty of horses who are downright mean. I mean there are horses who I avoid whenever possible for fear that they're gonna bite me or kick at me or run me down. Horses are big animals. Big strong animals. And actually the smaller they are the bigger the attitude. I'd much rather have a huge draft horse than a tiny pony because 9 times out of 10 the big horse will be sweeter than the tiny pony. Sure the tiny pony might be easier to muscle around but those teeth and pointy hooves hurt! Trust me, horses can indeed be mean.

You can breed the wild out of foxes within a human lifetime. Still, yeah, I don't think you'd want to try to do it as a commercial venture...

Yeah, but just like today's dogs were bred from wild wolves and are no longer very much like their ancient ancestor, so the fox can be bred for tame characteristics, but you end up with an animal that is no longer much like its wild cousins. A lot can be achieved by breeding selectively, but the naturally occuring fox is not temperamentally suited to being a pet.

What? I'm fairly certain Walt Disney was not Anti-semitic.

Most of what I know is from the Simpsons, and they referenced that. Roger Meyers Snr's "Nazi Superman are our Superiors" in the Itchy and Scratchy Land episode.

Hell, everybody was anti-semetic in those days, it was why the Nazis were tolerated. Obviously the Final Solution was largely a secret until Allied troops went into Germany and Poland and discovered the concentration camps, but still.

T.S. Elliott, Walt Disney...many many people!
