Ofcourse you are. You were certain you'd win. And what if the gods don't intervene?

The Charter doesn't grant the Arbiter any power to decide who is and who isn't Kaiser. He furthermore has no power to interpret the Charter, Laws or Decrees. He certainly doesn't have any power over the Kaiser.

Again. I'm not the Arbiter, go and address your legal concerns to him. He's made a ruling, if you disagree with it, take it up with him.

If the Gods don't intevene, I trust the Landsraad and the People.

And if the Landsraad is divided?

There is always a majority. Hopefully.

By virtue of the fact that I have 500 erb in the household account which I did not put into a personal account (because I was Kaiser at the time, and the household account was mine). And then I was assasinated.

I think the position of Arbiter - paired with actually doing your job - was a bad way to go if you wanted to stop people thinking like that.

You could have done it before you were assassinated. It's not like you actually died. BTW, I can't find this voting system in neither the Charter, LawBook or the DecreeBook.

It was never adopted. We developed part of it but it was rejected. As for the account, I would have transfered it following my in character assasination, but I thought it would anger people, so Im going to wait for the Arbiter to decide whether it should go anywhere.

But you didn't think going against your word would anger people? :D

What does that have to do with the bank?

This wasn't a ruling, or a use of my powers. I simply pointed out a fact, should anyone care what the position of the law was on the matter.

I didn't say who the Kaiser was, just who based solely on law, would be Kaiser. It was more an.... opinion, then a ruling.

Mike is right, I have no power to declare the Kaiser. But I can point out what the law says on the matter, which is my job.

Mike, unfortunately, a lot of Shireroth is based not only on law, but on tradition. So sometimes things aren't explicitly stated in the laws, but based on tradition, will have certain interpretations.

Further, as the first active Arbiter to exist, I'm kinda breaking new ground on what I can and cannot do as Arbiter. In this situation I'm trying to provide legal clarification, not absolute ruling. Note that it's not in the Judex forum.

Thanks for the clarification Erik.
