Do you know there is a Landsraad Front Gate for this conversation?

No! We nobles must discuss these matters in the Landsraad, it's our Kaiser-given privilege.

Come on, that's why the job of Praetor is so hard. Wading through the crap to find the votes.

You can always delete posts..... You have the authority. And if it's just spam conversation, I as Arbiter would support your actions.

It is the role of the Praetor to keep order in the Landsraad, and for the nobles to listen to the Praetor. The Praetor is authorized to penalize nobles for misconduct.

Straylight NAY and NAY. I decided to listen to my heart after all and go with my general dislike of micronational economies.

Proposition I -

Aye: 2
Nay: 1
Abstain: 0
Proposition II -
DISAPPROVED

Okay... I wanted to wait untill there was a new Duke of Brookshire but NOOOOOOO... everyone wants to get this finished. Now you see: Proposition II is disapproved
(I'm not in favour of it, but I was curious)!

No, my Duke! I demand a recount and that you change your vote on proposition too, or I'll withdraw my erbs from your future ...
Oh damn.

Well, this has been a pointless excercise since the economy won't work without both parts.

I don't agree, Your Niftiness. The first proposition can work without the second, only the second can't work without the first.
We can register companies now and... and... ahum... and... and...

Jonas, seeing as how this was sitting here for a month and no one bothered to answer it. I'd like to address two options.
I could re-write this and add or subtract a few things and submit it again, or you could save me a lot of work and extend the voting session so that at least all submitted votes are counted.

Yes, I understand that. However there was no determined time limit for the bill. There was no set "deadline". Having half of the bill pass is next to useless. which means I now have to go and write a second bill containing the essence of the second part and submit it as its own bill (which I will do if I must). Or you could set an actual deadline for the bill (say, wednesday) and allow all the dukes to finish voting.

Right, well I'm going to address both issues here. Since the Arbiter has gone ahead and proposed a Bill regarding proceedures of the Praetor, I'm going to put forth a bill identifying the Arbiters rights, powers and jurisdiction. Erik mentioned his position as arbiter is impotent and I agree. As such I think there should be a section of the charter which gives the Arbiter more power than simply as a "reactive judgement". I believe the Arbiter should be able to make judgements on breaches of proceedure and law even when not petitioned. I'll PM Erik directly about this and we'll work out the details.

As arbiter I shall voice the view, that any change should be made in the Lawbook, not the Charter.

The second part of this bill, being illegally passed after the vote had closed, is hereby overturned by the authority vested in me as Arbiter of the Imperial Judex, as outlined in
Article III, Section B of the Imperial Charter.
