Well, on that logic, virtually all of Gralus was owned by Shireroth originally. So you might as well join us ...

OOC:
Back in the dawn of History, (December 1999) I almost accidentally founded the United Imperium of Cognito & Lac Glacei. It shortly gave my character a backstory during the Second Cyberian Civil War (otherwise known as the Second War for Cyberian Liberation
http://www.shireroth.org/wiki/index.php title=Second_War_for_Cyberian_Liberation
Which to me seemed very much like what is called today a recwar. Well, others took it much more seriously than I, and so began a long drawn-out battle. I renamed the country the "United Imperium of Cognito, Lac Glacei & Free Cyberia, which did not help matters overmuch.
The Imperium joined Tymaria. I walked out in a huff in protest of the TYSOG affair, having made friends in the Republic of Morovia. At that time I swore off micronationry forever!
I named Joe Whit my heir and successor, and disappeared. Joe willed the Imperium to Shireroth. The Kaiser of the day (wisely)decided to keep C&LG and ignore my "Cyberia", free or otherwise.
Well, as far as "Emperor" Jacobus was concerned, LG&C (as it became known), belonged to Shireroth. He was always going to start an irridentist campaign to get it back, but he just couldn't seem to be able to go to war against Shireroth. (Malarbor was working on his mind, even then?)
Besides, he was almost constantly "at war" to some extent with the VCC ("Evil Cyberia", as he called it), and one war at a time is plenty.
Meanwhile, Ryan (as Grand Duke) revived the territory as a quasi?independant nation.
Now, when Shireroth was in the doldrums and sinking fast, "President" Jacobus (as he styled himself by that time) was able to obtain the Shirerithian claim to LG&C (wanting to save it from the abyss), as well as Ryan's claim. The intent was to make "Federal" Cyberia an imperial colonial power.
Well, the "best laid plans of Cyberians often go astray". The other folks involved in the FRC (yes, there are/were some) had more important things to do beyond micronationry.
The FRC is sort of "on ice", and the Lac Glaceians and Cognitans were actually under Shirerithian suzeranty longer than they were under Jacobus, and share a lot culturally.
And aggrandizing Shireroth is by definition a Good Thing!
If we add Jacobus' (founder's) claim+Ryan's claim+Shireroth's historic claim (should) equal something.
What that means on the MCS map is beyond me, but, (sliding into character)
we must liberate our sisters and brothers!

Duke Jacobus--
I had never heard the story of the founding/invention of Lac Glacei and Cognito. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Most said they would be afraid of their own size. It makes this supernation idea sound very much fun. We'd be unstoppable!

Of course it would scare them, people
should be intimidated by a supernation that covers HALF THE WORLD.

Gralus should just surrender the lands in question. It would save a lot of unnecessary hassle later on.

Well...I really have no say it in...only one person who's a citizen of Shireroth has a say in it, and that's Bayen, and he's only 1 vote of three in the Gralan Executive Council...

I have Babkhan Rials, I can build him a great monolith in Babkha as a private residence with armed guards, escape chute to USSC etc.... and if he refuses, we can always threaten to drop the monolith on him.
Now, about these other two - will they require monolith-based manipulation?

How about we propose it to them just after Babkha surrenders all their lands to Shireroth?

Oh dear... a scion of the Russell clan appears to have fallen out of a fifth storey window and quite randomly landed inside an industrial sized mincemeat maker. Oh how bizarre. Still, stranger things have happened. I wonder what this green button on the side of it does...

Alright.
if I read their map, and compare it to the Mango Map

,
NE of Melangia is a green unclaimed area that was most of Shirerithian Cognito.
I'm going to load the
YMS Kaiser Mors V and head for Melangia. I should have a treaty from President Spaulding by the time we get there.
