Now, with luck (or better, with Ifni), it's all done. I changed the map in the first pos not the later one, for those wondering.

And since we all seem agreed on it ... can Ari or his Niftiness change the barony forums and subforums to reflect this new arrangement?

I rejigged the subforums, and gave hypatias mom moderatorship in Lumina's Light, but I'm kind of confused which Barony you're supposed to be Baron of, Andreas...

Atterock, thankyou. And can you add in counties for the other areas (Melangia, Norfolk etc ... it should work out to 4 or 5 per Barony)

Thanks :angel

I've questioned this - I suppose it's some Apollonian tradition I'm not aware of. :fish

Considering I'm not aware of such a tradition either, I wouldn't blame the Apollo sector for it :p

Then I can call myself the Baronr of the Baronry :kaiser

Meh, it's good enough to stick as a tradition ...

That's what I wanted to do when the map was well. But it's a Barony, without the 'r'.

Well I've posted in Brookshire and Yardistan a lot ... it evens out.

And Jonas - go to the first post, click edit, then select Sticky.

I know... but I don't see Sticky anywhere. :confused

The way I'd do it is:

- go to the Kildare forum
- click on "Moderator Control Panel"
- mark the "Map of Kildare" thread, go down, select 'Change to "Standard Topic"' in the box which reads "Select desired action"
- click Submit
- extrapolate what you'd do to sticky this thread...

The problem is that there is only:
- Delete
- Merge
- Move
- Copy
- Lock
- Unlock
- Resync

:cry

No, I'm a Lord. I don't crie! I kill someone in my frustration... a stupid peasant...

Ari, from my experience you can't generally sticky from Mod stuff, it has to be from editing the original post ...

Apparently phpBB3 permissions are divided into posting permissions and moderating permissions, at least in the interface anyway. Making stickies and such is in posting permissions. I fixed them for you; I'll have to see if there's a more elegant way to give someone full posting and moderation permissions at once at a later time.

Andreas: No, stickying and such works both from the moderator control panel and from the posting/editing dialog in phpBB3. I checked both.

Ahh, too used to phpbb2 ...
btw Ari, can I have mod for all the counties in my Barony, at least until they get their own Counts? For example, I'd like to lock some of the old topics in Norfolk, or at least consolidate them into one thread, since they all seem to be related ...

There, that should do it. You should already have been the moderator for all of your Counties (you *are* the Baron, after all), but I'd forgotten to fix the settings for the forums I took from the archive..
