My plans are minor, and purely matters of technical issues...

Basiclly.. get the forums and website under control again.

Does anyone have the old Account number for the website? This is the most important thing to me at the moment. Plus, we need to backup the Microwiki and prepare to move it to a new server. The site is defunct and about to run out. We need a new server space. Preferably free.

Can I get the forum admin password or at least get it to an active citizen who can make changes as needed.

Oh... and I guess I oughta do something about my citizenship...

it seems like I have some form of admin access here still, and so I can probably use it to make new admins...

I have no time or will to carry on here myself...I'm not going to hand in my citizenship because that always back fires....but neither am I going to be on here...my studies take up most of my time and energy, and what I have left I am trying to use to build a life outside of the internet...

I know that Shireroth has been in a worse state then this before, but compared to the heights we've been at before, it feels wrong....

at this point in time, I would say disband, but then again, I'm in a pessimistic mood....I don't like the idea of joining another nation (then again, look at what happened when Shireroth joined Tymiria...it came out stronger...)if you can cut out the empty spaces in the forum, maybe it will look better the newcomers,...I don't know....I no longer have a right to comment

Regarding server space, I'm not a Shireroth citizen, but I'd offer it. I have "unlimited" server space somewhere that could host the wiki, but the admin of it has disallowed phpBBs on it, and the current PHP build the server is using has a broken session module which makes wikis disfunct right this moment - but that is getting fixed right now. (The website would be dusk.datavibe.net, blood.datavibe.net or 440.datavibe.net - I don't have control over datavibe.net itself, so I wouldn't be able to make you a new subdomain.)

However, the phpBB I'd be more than willing to host on the limited space @ pinkgothic.com (or thorngale.net if you prefer; for both, any subdomain you wish). In fact, I'd even host the wiki, under the condition that the "delete old revisions" plug-in is installed and frequently (= maybe once a month) used, since I don't have tons of space.

It's not shiny, but it'd be free, and very controllable.

Nonetheless, I hope you find better oppurtunities than that.

I have a couple of gigs of server space at http://www.raikoth.net you could use if you wanted.

And I think Lachlan or someone made another microwiki somewhere else a few months ago on the basis that no one was maintaining Shireroth's. Check the MNN for more info on that.

Whilst I personally like the idea of Shireroth continuing (as an MCS admin I suppose I would), I do think there's something to be said for Shireroth ending.
If you guys had an official closing date, you'd go out with a bang, and practically every micronational leader in the Micras sector would attend. It would be a huge event, which is better than Shireroth slowly fading away.

If you can provide me with the wiki database, I can combine the two. The community waited for more than two months for the problems to be fixed though and wanted a working wiki, so the only option left was to create a new one. Many people did post here many times to get someone to fix it, so it wasn't done overnight

Yeah, I've been trying to think of a way to blame you for the past few weeks, but I really can't.

The database is corrupted and no one has access to the site anymore so we can't restore it. The last good database we have is an old copy of Moose's from June or so. Would that one be useful to you?
