I always feel left out in convos about Anime, because honestly, I think it's a lame form of art. Everyone always yells at me about that one. I also, funnily enough, don't really enjoy Magic the Gathering. I'm not sure if it's Anime or Magic the Gathering themselves, it's just the people I have met who are really into these things (with the exception of two people who enjoy anime, and have forced me at gun point to watch Ghost in the SHell 1 and 2, which I really enjoyed), generally, are annoying.

I'm not talking about the casual Anime watcher...It's the ones who fucking ruin halloween by parading dressed as their favorite Sailor Moon character. I also majorly blowed at Magic the Gathering the first time I tried in like 7th grade...this of course made me eternally despise those who played it. It also seems like a giant waste of money.

It's good to get that out on the table. I have a feeling though, that I've blasphemed against Shireroth in some way and Malarbor will come to my house and devour me.

I kinda liked anime the few times I've watched it...it tends to be cute and funny...though not much more so than a comparable American cartoon.

And Steve, Malarbor doesn't make house calls....yet.

It would be better if Japanese girls didn't always look 15, even when they're 25.

And the tae kwon do shit is hot.

I spoke with someone this weekend who has a friend up at Somona State who fits the desctiption of this psycho girl's actions extremely well. It turns out she went to high school with me and is friends with Snipyr on livejournal, if it's the same girl.

American anime (Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Yu Gi Oh, etc) all sucks.

If you get into the serious anime like Akira, Bubblegum Crisis, Galaxy Express (along with the Harlock and Emeraldas series), then it's a LOT better and actually far superior to any other cartoons.

I loved Sailor Moon! Screw you! I don't care HOW dumb it was to watch (or admit), I would watch the whole thing over again! I'll ban you Ryan for such an insult next time!

I've seen that.. I like it. Though of the few things I've watched. I like Cowboy Bebop.

A) I don't consider myself a geek..A loser, maybe, but not a geek.. My geek-osity extends to being involved in micronationalism. No further.

B) The ideal womn is the one that is willing to stick with you despite you shortcommings. In my case, the ideal woman would be the one who would be willing to go out with me after i've said about two sentences.

C) I hate anime. Some is ok. I was into pokemon while it was still young, but now theres fifty billion new characters and it's too goddamned complicateed for their target market.....10 year olds.....Exactally like power rangers. Don't get me started on Power Rangers!!

Actually, that's a lot closer to me than I can think of. Except I'm a positively huge nerd, (geek with academia, basically) but I'm not as much a geek in other things - I'm much less of a gamer than I used to be.
