how would you know unless you purposely used a proxy? IP ghosting isn't unheard of, you know.

As for the WMD, it was in fact a bluff. I hacked a phpbb and set it up on my own server to look like it had been bombarded by something. It was part of the Jellodude affair that kinda backfired back when the Dinarchy and Republic were still at each other's throats.

Everybody knows it was you by now. Different IPs prove nothing; Let me teach you something about logic.

let p := "2 accounts have the same IP"
let q := "behind the accounts is the same person"

!p = "2 accounts have a different IP"
!q = "behind the accounts are 2 different people"

p => q is true in 99.9% of the cases.

p => q = !p or q
!(p => q) = !(!p or q) = !(!p) or !q = !q => !p
and not !p => !q.

Thus, we can only safely assume that, if behind 2 accounts are 2 different people, they will have different IPs, and not vice versa, which is what you claim, albeit implicitly.

Sander, I won't call you a moron because you're very smart. Your logic is correct; however, you are incorrect in that you misinterpreted what I meant when I said "Check the IPs. They are different." I was saying, Sander, that the IPs in my posts (the posts by mbasil) and the posts by your mystery poster are different. Unless my computer has been hijacked in some wild hacking scheme, they will be different.

and like he says, the 2 posters having different IP addresses does not prove that they are different people.

You don't have to prove you're innocent though; innocent until proven guilty and all that jazz. Those who accuse you have to prove you're guilty, and I'm sure that will happen soon enough.

I wan to let it be known that mbasil IMed me last week sounding paranoid about our handling of the Republic and trying to get me to give my opinion on the situation. Then yesterday he messaged me back saying he'd brought his concerns out in Shireroth, etc., etc.

My reaction upon reading the first post was to think it was mbasil, in spite of the fact that he posted farther down the thread (as well?). I think everyone really should calm down.
