Even the days before the Kaisers, oh so long ago. We have come to charish our history. Not a single bit of shireroth has ever been deleted. It is all stored away, much out of sight I admit. But that is another part of our culture. We are secretive. We like our security. Born of Fire we have grown to love the flame, and love the stone behind which we may gain protection.You contest our mode of living. Our expasionist policy. But this is who we are. We are an Empire. We make to move to hide this. Our very name tells it. IMPIRIAL Republic of Shireroth. We are open about our goals. And you tell them to us like we should be ashamed. Now, maybe you do not agree with our goals. We will not contest that. Your mind is yours. We have no laws protecting your right to speak, but then again, you have made to pretense to make us wish to be kind to you.Long have you and the Kaisership of Shireoth fought. Long have we been mortal foes. We have made "peace" on occasion. We have had much reason to hate each other.But life cannot come from hatred. Nothing good may come from hatred. OUR common history has shown that most clear. So, To you I extend my hand one last time. I will not fain that we will be friends. But perhaps, we can grow a tolerance for each other.
