Mr. Beckford has resigned his position and has instead taken to spamming every forum he can. I lieu of his resignation, I have been appointed foreign minister.Puritania is still interested in establishing official relations and a treaty of peace with Shireroth.

Something simple to start with. A treaty of mutual recognition and peace. If there's no problems with that, i'll write up the details and let you take a look at it.Austi (Acting LP) also wants me to wave about the idea of doing some cross-economic stuff between our economies. Something like trading resources based on the MCS map via a exchange system or somethin. I suck at economics, so I ain't gonna try to explain the details any further than that. We just wanna know if you'd be interested in tryin somethin new with our economies. So you know, we're making this offer to a bunch of MCS-based mn's, to build up economic competition (or somethin like that). So it would'nt be just Puritania and Shireroth (with any luck).

I like the Treaty idea. Mutual recognition would be a good thing. As for economics. We don't even have an economics minister.. or anyone who knows how to run an economy.. so... We proly wouldn't be to big on that right now... E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GS

Ok, i'll stuff the economic crap for now... Anyhoo, here's the treaty I wrote. It's brief, but covers everything that's really needed (I think...). If you see something wrong, i'll edit it. If not, muchos coolies.--------------------------PreambleBy the signing of this treaty, this document becomes a binding contract between said signatories and their respective nation-states. This treaty cannot be adjusted, ammended or changed without the dual consent of both signatory parties. As a binding contract, both nations are obliged to uphold the articles herein this treaty. Any violation of said articles will result in either a suspension or anullment of the treaty. This treaty has no expiration and will remain in effect until such time as it is either withdrawn or an action is taken to anull it.Article 1.) By signing this treaty, the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to recognise and respect the sovereignity and territorial integrity of both nations.Article 2.) By signing this treaty, the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to cease all hostilities between one another (if any exist), and to maintain peaceful coexistence.Article 3.) By signing this treaty, the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to not engage in revolutionary, rebellious or other such activities that would undermine the stability of each's nation.Article 4.) Both the Commonwealth of Puritania and Republic of Shireroth agree to undertake extended eforts to cooperate on domestic issues such as economic and cultural projects.Signed for Puritania,R.D. CarusoMinister of Foreign Affairs

What does "undertake extended eforts to cooperate on domestic issues such as economic and cultural projects." mean? What are "Extended Efforts"? E. Metzler (UEC)Duke of Brookshire"Never use a BOO/\/\ist as a diplomat" -- GS

It means that we'll both respect eachother's cultural stuff, like the MCS, which applies to both of us. Yardistani insanity, which applies to you. Residency over citizenry as it applies to Puritania. And that we'll both be receptive to any ideas presented for any cross-cultural projects. But you're not obliged to accept any projects we propose, it just means you agree to hear us out first. And vice-versa.
