I should point out that the level of bitching and whining going on has remained more or less constant the entire time you were gone. Folk are set in their mutually-dependent, mutually-antagonistic ways.

I share some responsibility for the country (Shireroth, that is) going to crap, having missed, er 3 ? Kaisers. I landed in something alien, but the saying is, "you can't go home again." I was not around, thus not consulted.

I still don't the new system, but Shireroth is more than what I like, and is still worth preserving.

My rhetoric (or rather Jacobus' rhetoric is aimed at the character Mors VI and his deluded supporters ,

not against Erik (who at least did do something, errr grumble), and is evidenced my my personal regard for Erik, my extreme fondness for Mors V, and my faith in the eventual greatness of Mors VII.
