Ari, is there any possibility that we might use this instead of the Golden Nixon image? For consistency?

That would be a good idea, now wouldn't it?

Also I cleaned up the mango icon a bit while I was at it... should look better on Shirithian colours now.

The Golden Nixon is supposed to be a medal with Nixon's face on it. I dunno how a sword can fill that role.

Several of the images don't seem to be linking properly under people's names. Maybe it's just me.

Oh, it's probably not just you, it's just that my browser (for whatever reason) doesn't display the dangling img tags at all, so everything looks fine to me. So, I just put in all of the imgs, to be filled in with image files later as you come up with icons. I don't know how many people other than you it affects. Consider it an incentive to get the rest of the icons done soon

As for the Sword v. Nixon thing, the Golden Nixons (originally awarded by Hesam in ID#286) were changed into Gold Swords by Mike in ID#368. It's just that he was the only one to notice the fact that he did so .

I believe that it was the current Kaiser that turned it into an Order, the Order of the Gold Sword and the Victorious Golden Nixon or something.

Meh. Then you end up with two identical awards.


Also, I'm drawing a mental blank on designing an OMI. I need suggestions.

Why does everyone and their mother have golden swords now? Those are supposed to be awards handed out to those that defend Shireroth in the hour of greatest need. Everyone having one cheapens the award severely.

So I'm not really sure whether the ordering of prestige is supposed to be 1 = Knight, 2 = Companion, 3 = Member; or 1 = Member, 2 = Companion, 3 = Knight... but I think I'm gonna go with the former because that's the order they're listed in the Decreebook...

The first is correct. Level is misleading, since 1 here is higher than 3.

Did I miss something somewhere? Ari and Harvey seem to require a "sunburst" award which I don't see any reference to.

Of course it's probably staring me in the face...

I've been unable to find any records of the Order's origin, but it was probably decreed by Scott since the Sunburst thing reeks of Audentior. If I had to guess, the Order is composed of either people that were specifically part of Audentior or people that were around in 2000/maybe 2001. Either way, a bunch of us old timers.

I dunno, it looks... Hyperborean, somehow, to me. Though that might just be because it looks like a snowflake . Probably not what you intended but I like it. In fact I like it even more than the obvious intended icon, .

I love the Sunburst icon. Better than the Audentior flag.
