But we are still small enough for there to be a debate as to whether we are a large oligarchy or a small ochlocracy... both systems characterised by extra-constitutional upheavals and coups ratified by acclamation. :p

I would say we're a large ochlocry.

No, but the mob has its moments, as in most societies.

I hate the word "oligarchy" (for reasons evident to those who know my history), but the mob can, and has been, thwarted when the oldest (in Shirithian terms) citizens exert their influence and moral authority.

When the Constitution has its authority in the will of the Kaiser, the Kaiser's word makes it Constitutional.

Can't we call it a Shirocracy?

It is not quantifiable or explicable.

As it should be.

For the wiki:
Shirocracy is a form of government that looks like a dictature but isn't. It's simply not explicable. It has its historical roots in Shireroth where the people often agrued what kind of government they had. With calling it Shirocracy, the problem was solved and everyone lived in perfect harmony.

I like "Shirocracy". A good name that seems to mean something, while at the same time meaning whatever we want it to. :thumbsup

To paraphrase Lewis Carroll, a word means what we want it to, and when we use it a lot, we can pay it extra.........

Now now. Do not be so harsh on our good friend Allot. Yes he may idolize the strangest people, perhaps it is the way that he idolizes people to the extreme at which he does which makes it seem odd [bordering on unhealthy obsession in my opinion]. I mean if nothing else count yourself honored to join the ranks of high class people which had once had your position Scott, such as : Anderson Cooper, Berdinette Peters (spelling is wrong but I'm too lazy to find her on google.)

And that was quite he-la-re-us
