Economies limit imagination to what you can 'afford'. It adds an uncomfortable spin to micronations that I would frankly not like to see expand any further.
Respectfully I disagree. Economies expand imagination to what you can think up. Everything in an economy will be what you can afford because of supply and demand.
If someone is uncomfortable with micronations economies let them take part in as little of it they want, but not prohibit or dampen those others who want to have economics.
It´s like recwar , if you don´t want recwar if it´s not for you - don´t do it.
It´s like magic, if you don´t want magic if it´s not for you - don´t do it.
It´s like roleplaying, if you don´t want roleplaying if it´s not for you - don´t do it.
It's like storytelling, if you don't want storytelling if it's not for you - don't do it.
It's like sports, if you don't want sports if it's not for you - don't do it.
It's like micronational Universities -
It's like cultural forums -
It's like a feudal system -
It's like foreign relations -
It´s like any idea that comes along, if you don´t want it if it´s not for you - don´t do it.
Just don´t make it impossible for others to have recwar, magic, roleplaying, economies, storytelling .......
I just don't like economies because I believe first and formost that micronations should be about fun and storytelling.
There are those who find storytelling fun.
There are those who find roleplaying fun.
There are those who find magic fun.
There are those who find recwar fun.
There arold closed Phoenix Forest??????
Yes Iskander, that's quite detailed enough (though some of that I think's been paid for ... fairly sure the Oracle has, at least).
