Death? Never!

Post by Jonas »

Dear fellow citizens,

Is Shireroth dead? No! Yhere is a little bit of inactivity but is that a reason to quit?
Will we do like the others and stop when there is inactivity? NO! Inactivity makes from Shireroth wat it is: a nation that's old, mighty and feudal!

I don't lett us die, we shall show what we can. :)
If it must I will become Kaiser, (maybe) with permission of his Majesty, untill Shireroth is stable again and Letifer wants to come back.

For the New Imperial Republic!
From a distance I'm concerned about the rampant lawyerism manifesting itself in Shireroth currently. A simple Kaiserial slap on the wrist or censure by the community should suffice. - Jacobus Loki

Stop egging him on, Jacobus. As a good, Kaiser-fearing citizen of Shireroth, Jonas is rightfully hesitant and hasn't declared himself Kaiser just yet, despite recognition and you telling everyone on the MNN that he had. :fish

The Vanderveer Reich contests any claim by Jonas as Kaiser due to a desire to do what is best for Shireroth and, although Jonas would no doubt make a wonderful leader, perhaps he is not best suited to the epic task which is now before us.

I, Prince Léopold Regent of Vlaanderen, Earl Henry of New Brittania, Sahib Jahandar Khan of Nea Hestia, Jeremy of Riponia and Yeremiah Bet Sarqis of Matbaa do hearby lay claim to the throne for the Line of Bellami.
The Line of Bellami traces its Imperial lineage directly from Raynor I, Founder of Shireroth and the first Kaiser. As you all know, Kaiser Brrapa I, son of Raynor I, was the progenitor of the Metzler Line. In the year b2254, as Brrapa I was getting on in age, his eyes began to drift slowly away from the apple of his eye, Kaiseress Alexandretta, and towards the young cuves of his wife's handmaidens. One in particular, Isabella, was one night, enamoured by Brrapa's legendary charms, coupled with the Kaiser as Isabella's chronicles dictate. She then fled the Imperial Court for fear of the retribution of Alexandretta. 13 years later she returned to the Court, requesting a private audience with Brrapa. Though ill, he consented, recognising her immediately. She revealed to him his illegitimate son, Jeremy, and praising the gods Brrapa gladly and enthusiastically exclaimed that he was unhappy with his current heir, Erik, and that Jeremy would make a fine Kaiser. To certify this claim, Isabella was given a pair of earrings bearing the entwined crests of the Metzler and Raynor lines. However, overcome with joy, Brrapa had a cardiac arrest and died with his true heir by his side. However, Isabella fled again, knowing she needed time to prepare her claim, swearing that she would one day return to put her son on the throne. She died young soon after, and her chronicles and Jeremy's claims together formed the basis for the Bellami Bloodline's claim to the throne. They have never yet had a son on the Golden Mango Throne, but times grow strange, and anything yet may happen...
I do therefore implore all loyal citizens of Shireroth to recognise the reign of Kaiser Augeore I, as i am to be known.

That's the problem: as Kaiser I can't be citizen of another nation. Therefore I have invited King Jeremy to become Kaiser of Shireroth, BUT instead I want a little more rights so I can help rebuild Shireroth.

Maybe we can invent the title Lord Protector of the New Imperial Republic so I can help rule with him. :angel

I stay of course Praetor until I must quit :)
I hope that the young Vanderveer Empire indeed can merge with Shireroth... ow beautiful dreams...

For everyone: untill the people agree (or both nations merge) to recognise Augeore I, i will be the Temporary Kaiser of Shireroth.

But-

Post by Jacobus Loki »

then it's Emperor is not Shirerithian? And certainly, not wholly Shirerithian!

Jonas, of what other nation are you a citizen? Could you resign, become Kaiser, and then change the law?

As a former Noble of Shireroth, myself (and 34 or so others) could make a better claim than this stranger!

(Currently Honorary Title)
Jacobus, By the Grace of God and the Voice of the People, Emperor of Cognito, Lac Glacei, Cyberia, Absentia, and His Lands Beyond the Seas, King of the Mela'anje, Protector of Jaris and of Cocoanut Grove.

Not that I'm making any such claim, by the way.

P.S. - Do you have admin power over this board?
