Happy Jasonia Day, Shirerithians!

Post by benkern »

Hello Shirerithians!

Happy Jasonia Day to you all. I hope you have a fantastic day on this most exciting of micronational holidays. You all know the story by now - bunch of Flying Islands raised 19th Feb 2000, have a few laughs, spark off whole branches of micronational culture... s'all good. Anyway, just wanted to stop by, say hello and alert you to some of the exciting goings on this Jasonia Day.

Foremost, there is Control of Destiny 2. The demo, version 5.1, has been released today and can be located at the Charas forum. I have been playing it myself and it's pretty fun, and for anyone who enjoyed the previous games or whatever will definately enjoy it.

Second, theres the World Council. Yeh, this is pretty much a bad advert by me, but it is worth a look if y'all want to see a few of the new faces of Micras. The topic on the MCS fora can be found here. A dozen micronationalists - pimpalicious!

Third, there's the usual speech by Harvey - oh wait, he's "gone forever". Ah well. Someone else please take to the podium. :D

So you guys just chill, have a good time, chat about brainsucking pineapples and blue hair and reminisce about the PRH. Once again, Happy Jasonia Day!

Happy Jasonia day! As one of the few people here who was *actually* a member of Jasonia, this is a sad day for me. But happy too, I suppose. Anyway, cool game, cant wait to play it. Jasonia, RIP.

ooc: I'm actually in the game I believe, right?

(You are indeed, and a cool one too :smashy )

Jasonia Day should be a day to look back and think, "What larks, eh?" The "Golden Age" of Jasonia should not looked back upon longingly or with sadness but joy that it happened and you have memories to look upon with a smile on your face.

Me :love Jasonia Day. :)

Jasonia Day lasts at least a week. Or at least, the drinking does. :D
