What's the status on changing over the colour scheme, graphics, et all anytime soon?

These greys and whites are so bland I'm just dying over here....

I will be working on the color scheme, attmepting to at the very least recreate the original shireroth scheme, sometime either tonight or tomorrow. (tomorrow is more likely, as tonight is new year's eve)

Once I get things to a stable point, where it can be generally agreed they look like the old forum (well, to a point. I won't be using the old logo... I'll probably be recreating most graphics on my own) I can start work on a mock-up theme that will be 100% unique, not just hacked together.

Oh no, I've heard.

That's why this is the DEFAULT. I'll work on an additional theme, but it will be completely optional, since themes are entirely user-decided.

(And actually, Foghorn - there are a few NEW lame-ass graphics.

I like this. It looks the same yet somehow better.

Anyway, I think your new scheme should be the default, and this can be selectable. The reason: only old people who have been here for years and years and years like this one, whereas everyone else who comes to visit hates it. Much easier to get us old codgers to change our settings than every other visitor.
