Mom's LOA
I am hereby declaring an indefinate LOA for my mom. One of her health problems has suddenly worsened, and she's going to be going to the hospital tomorrow until it's resolved fully. (Yes, I'll still be here, but not as much.) Thanks for understanding, and please keep us in your prayers. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

It's a new wrinkle in some serious things I have been dealling with. This is beyond home care, though. Thanks for caring. (See also my letter to Scott in the Kaiser's Court.)

Re: Mom's LOA
Update: Mom is still in the hospital and very ill, though stronger than before. There is a very horrible and (sometimes) deadly flu going around, and mom caught it. That combined with other health issues she had not taken proper care of put her into the hospital, and she nearly died the first day or two. Her current condition is, frankly, rather dire. She was finally able to get out of bed a couple days ago, but just barely. She will be in the hospital for a few months at least. Also, I need to say that her chances of survival are actually worse than I thought. Her doctor gave her a year to live with her legion health problems (and that's aside of the flu), and there is a drastic operation that she has a 50% chance of surviving, that would save her if it succeeded. It's no surprise that I'm frightened for her.If anyone is wondering, I'm using Shireroth as a bit of an escape right now, which is why I'm so more active than usual. All of your prayers would be welcome. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

Re: Mom's LOA
My dad has just informed me that mom is coming home tomorrow to stay for a while before having her surgery. I have no idea really how long she will be home or whether she will be online at all, though it will probably be for maybe 3 or 4 weeks.I will be trying to find a place to stay away from home, since my finals start Monday, and I also need to write an essay I've just barely started to prepare for. I am also graduating next Thursday night. I may be offline for a few days, or just checking in occasionally if I get access to the internet. I don't know if I'll have wireless access wherever I go, or if my wireless card will even work properly if I do. We'll see. *throws grenade for the hell of it*BO0O0O0O0/\/\!!!!!!

Re: Mom's LOA
Hi, guys. I actually got back home yesterday. I am much better, but quite weak from a month in bed. We now have floor-to ceiling poles around the house to help me maneuver, and I'm working hard to get well. I am very grateful for all your prayers. I've missed you all. Since I'm going to be recovering my health for a while, I think I'll have to take it easy for awhile. But I am back from LOA and demangoing as fast as I can. Things have sure changed! I'm moving to Kildare to recuperate, and since my old duchy is now gone.
