Re: To: Jadie
Jadie,In your title is "Steward of Shireroth" What is this position and where does this work take place? Is it in the Landsraad? ... I need to know this in order to incorportate it into the economics - so you might get paid for being Steward of Shireroth. Also, who lives in this Duchy and in what Baronies?- Who are Barons and Baronesses? You may collect a tax from Barons and Baronesses if they have a bank account. Please let me know what percentage of tax you want collected from your Barons and Baronesses.Austi

Re: To: Jadie
I don't wish to take any taxes from my baroness.Steward of Shireroth is "second in command" I guess you could say. If our Kaiser goes on vacation it leaves me in charge of Shireroth. So I guess I work directly for the Shirithian gov't.As for my citizens. I have Solitary Poet, Angellene in Goldshire itself. Then in Lunaris (my barony) I have Eriana Moon who is the baroness....Snypir Deadeye,...and I believe those are the "active citizens" that I have. Re: To: Jadie
Thanks for the recognition – not that I’m looking for it, but thanks.By not collecting a Nobility Tax you are defeating the Feudal government system. … but then I’m not entirely sure that any of your subjects are involved in the economy right now.Perhaps other Duchies will collect a Nobility Tax and your stance of not collecting a Nobility Tax will entice others to move here – I suppose all that is yet to be seen.Maybe all the Duchies will rebel against the Feudal government system and not collect a Nobility Tax. I suppose that matter is for the government – there shall be no Nobility Tax collected for you unless you reverse your orders.May I post encouragements to join the economy in your Duchy to those who live here?Austi

you may post such encouragements if you deem it necessary. and the reason for not collecting a nobility tax..I believe i have enough funds for what I need in my humble abode of Goldshire. Jadie of GoldshireCarry on with your lives people...nothing to see here.

If you think you have taken over the whole world you should really live in my Barony in The Great Forest of Kildare - the Barony of Hallucination.

You are indeed well respected - but you should, IMHO, charge a Nobility Tax.

Re: To: Jadie
... why.. why... why, you ask!... because Shireroth is a feudal society. Therefore, in order to have a tax system that is feudal it is necessary that the Nobles establish a tax system withing their lands. The Imperial government will then only tax the Duchy. You might need to adjust your rates once that happens. Anyways, the step Shireroth is in now is attempting to get all Nobles to establish a tax system within their own lands. When that is complete I can will release the Imperial government tax needs - letting you know how much Erb is expected from your Duchy. (Which I'm working on) - But, unless you have a tax system in place then the tax system isn't a feudal tax system - and your people will continue to be taxed by the Imperial government.Austi(Reads that again ... yeah, makes sense to me even if it doesn't to anyone else.)
